Where are you from, stranger?

hey, i’m from england. i’m zingringo, and i’m told that’s a beautiful name in navajo!

Ankara, Turkey

I am currently living in Sierra Vista, Arizona, USA (only 16 miles from historic Tombstone, Arizona…and the OK Corral).

Ah, Sierra Vista. Nice down there. Oh, and hello, Coolio and Zingringo!!

thanks! it’s… good to be here.

Good to have you here my friend. Hope we will create some traditional mayhem, our style :stuck_out_tongue:

I live in Turnhout, Belgium, a small town near the Dutch border. I was born in Eindhoven, Holland, from a Dutch father and a Belgian mother.

For those of you who wonder why there are no Italian or Spanish users: I don’t know much of Spain (my Spanish is rather poor) but I do know the Italians. They are very friendly, open-minded people and if you speak their language you’re almost immediately accepted as ‘one of them’, but they are rather reluctant to communicate in another language than their own; don’t forget that many Italians only speak Italian. The situation has changed a little under Berlusconi, who said he wanted to modernize the country and promoted for that reason the so-called three necessary I’s: Internet, Inglese and (forgot what the third I was). When I was in Rome some time ago, many shopkeepers etc. wanted to speak English with me, even if they knew only a fistful of words.
And yes, the italians have their own forums; I contribute to the forum LA COLT E’ LA MIA LEGGE / GENTE DI RESPETTO under the name of SIMONDIBELGIO. So all of you, fluent in Sergio’s native tongue … see you over there.

Amarillo, Texas

Buenos Dias Amigos,
I live perched on the western edge of Western America, in San Francisco.
I’ve lived and traveled all over the American West.
I like nothing better than loading up in the car and taking a road trip anywhere into the American outback.
I guess I wish I lived on the edge of the Grand Canyon.
I met and made friends with some interesting Germans while on a vacation there. Lots of Europeans to be found roaming the Southwest in rental cars!

I live in Montrose in the County of Angus on the North-East Coast of Scotland.

Originally London but moved around a lot and now by the seaside in Gorleston-on-Sea in sunny Norfolk.

My folks are from northern Spain… but I was born & raised in London, England.
I consider myself to be more Spanish than English…

I’m very surprised actually at the very high US percentage.
I also expected higher percentages from France, Spain, Portugal, Italy & Norway.

Actually only few users used the polls. Maybe the other guys and girls are from europe

I’m from Austria. Would be interesting where the people live who voted for other.

No one from Italy or Spain here?

Afterall, that is where these movies come from!!

Well, i think i said it somewhere else earlier. Most people that i met from souther europe(italy, and mainly spain as i lived there half a year) are very shy when it comes to discussing stuff in english. So I think fans of the films exist there of course, but they propably use their forums with italian and spanish language.
The countries that most of us come from are known for their good education system at least when it comes to english. Scandinavians and dutch people probably speak better and more understandable than english folks.

I was in your town today Tigero. I’ve been to Yarmouth many times before and my Dad lives in Norfolk these days in a little village not far from you called Lingwood. But I think today was the first time I have ever actualy visited Gorleston. And it was indeed sunny
Although with a bite in the wind that only a North Sea coastal town can supply

My mother in law and sister in law live in Lingwood…go there quite a bit…shame I did not know you were here could have met up…from what I have gleaned about you we have lots in common…The Rev rated you as a good geezer when I first got interested in this site…anyway leave all that for another post

You have family in Lingwood? That is whacky. Not a big place at all. Well next time I’m up that way I’ll drop you a line first and we’ll go for a pint. Sounds like we do have a fair amount in common. What part of London are you from originally?
