Just thought I’d update my unofficial list after Firefox came in:

20. Django, Kill… If You Live, Shoot! (26 points)
19. Day of Anger (28 points)
18. Run, Man, Run (29 points)
17. Keoma (30 points)
16. Sabata (31 points)
15. Mannaja (32 points)
14. A Fistful of Dynamite/Duck, You Sucker! (35 points)
13. My Name is Nobody (43 points)
12. (TIE) A Bullet for the General (56 points)
11. (TIE) The Mercenary (56 points)
10. Face to Face (57 points)
09. Companeros (59 points)
08. Death Rides a Horse (82 points)
07. Django (114 points)
06. The Big Gundown (118 points)
05. A Fistful of Dollars (171 points)
04. The Great Silence (189 points)
03. For a Few Dollars More (251 points)
02. Once Upon a Time in the West (254 points)
The Good, the Bad & the Ugly (287 points)
At this point my method is on the verge of becoming obsolete. That is, anyone who votes from now on can drastically alter the placements (Example: If someone puts Django Kill! at #1 on their list, it’ll hop up 6 spots on this one).
well nevertheless. maybe only update your list everytime 10 new people post a list. i’ll send a mass message around to encourage those to post their list who haven’t yet

Realy pretty difficult- the list is my taste of the last month.
Perhaps we should expand the list to a top 30 instead?
There are wonderful films outside of the current top 20, Matalo! for instance, and it’s a shame if they wouldn’t get proper attention to fans and newcomers.

I think 20 is enough, I mean, for a BEST of essential westerns. We can also publish that list and then include another 20 or so “runners up” for those interested. I think that would be a good idea

(And just so’s ya know… It’s pretty easy to move things around. Please just let me know in the future if you’ve already posted a list and are just reorganizing it - don’t want to count anybody twice!)
