The alternative top 20 films are not your # 21 - 40, but your 20 favourite Spags without the forum’s top 20 (actually to make it more tricky only the forum’s top 18 at the moment)
Now if we look as example at Wobble’s list, then these are also in the forum’s top 18, and are for that reason not allowed:
- GBU
- OUATIW
- The Great Silence
- FAFDM
- FOD
- The Big Gundown
- Duck You Sucker
- A Bullet for the General
- The Return of Ringo
- Keoma
- The Mercenary
- Death Rides A Horse
- Day of Anger
But these of his top 20 should be automatically also in his alternative top 20, because they are not in the forum’s top 18:
- Tepepa
- A Pistol for Ringo
- Arizona Colt
- Django Kill
- Dead Men Ride
- The Forgotten Pistolero
- If You Meet Sartana Pray For Your Death
The alternative list of Wobble would then contain also his next 13 films to fill up the 20, but again without any of the other top 18 films. Like Django.
Well, it’s a bit confusing, but the rules as defined by Phil can be checked in the first post of the Alternative Top 20 thread:
