I think it’s better than the Peter Alexander ( another famous singer/entertainer) Western: Graf Bobby, der Schrecken des Wilden Westen (Count Bobby, the Terror of the Wild West ) Which isn’t very difficult.
Funny review on IMDB about the Freddy Movie. Will there be one on the SWD also?
Is this so rare?
It was on German television last year (I think ARD) and I watched some 10 minutes, without paying much attention to it
Now I think that is a pity
Junge komm bald wieder !
I think the tape is really rare ! Hadn’t seen it around for quite a while ! The movie airs on German television from time to time, you’re right about that Scherp. ! Try to watch it, if you get the chance. It’s very naively done and far from a hard western but good amusement !

Haven’t seen that one in a while and don’t remember much about it except it being very silly and dumn !!! Freddy is better all the way !!! Don’t know about the review though !

Synopsis are something that need more fixing. I think someone added lots of Weisser’s incorrect synopsis to database some time ago. One thing I don’t like either is the short unsigned “reviews” which are just basically synopsis of the films.
Another error from a former member named “Mark”. I’m beginning to hate this guy.

I got this Toppic tape, if you (or someone else) want to do trade, just PM me. Very good quality. Will trade it to some other tape, cheapie German DVDs or something.
I kinda like this film and all the songs too. Must be the only romantic western I like. :-*
They’re both decent shows, nothing spectacular (in that nice big middle-of-the-road area I find most spaghettis to be in). I like DLK better out of the two…seen it 3 times already.
OH MY GOD! I am unbelievably hapy right now! My internet was down since wednesday and I have discovered that the database is my life. I’ve done some intense spaghetti watching to drown my sorrows.
Django, Kill
Still think it is just an OK film. Special but a bit boring and not enough continuaous action but very interesting.
A Reason to Live, A Reason to Die
I still like it. Not perfect and could have been more but still top 20 materal. I noticed that in the opening credits, the picture in the background when the title comes up is Columbus NM in 1917. Has nothing to do with the Civil War. Picture taken after Pancho Villa raided the town.
Matalo!
Yes, again. Still like it but when I watched it I was half asleep as I watched these films all in the same 12 hour period. Have to watch it again.
Django the Bastard
Still good but flawed. Review will be posted soon I have already made one while my interenet was down.
Next batch may include FINDERS KILLERS. I have to see this one.
Don’t know if it really counts as a western, but it looks and feels most like an update of The Wild Bunch, rather clumsily disguised as a thriller
Two old friends are now living on different sides of the border and operating on different sides of the law, the first is a Texas Ranger, the second a drug dealer hiding out in Mexico. And there’s also a special military under cover team (or are they just criminals?) after the drug dealer’s arse (ass).
The storytelling is ridiculous and the acting uneven (Powers Boothe hams it up laughably, Nolte gives an ok subdued performance), but with Hill at the steering wheel, there’s always a fair amount of blood spattered, ultra-spectacular action, so it isn’t boring. But Hill’s more straightforward western movies (in the sense that they weren’t disguised) The Long Riders and (especially) Wild Bill are much better.

All I can say is WOW!!!
I was blown away. Steffen and Damon were outstanding together. Almost worthy of my top 20. A hidden gem if there ever was one.
can’t remember anything about it myself. maybe time to rewatch…
I was just watching few western trailers (Previews to Kill)
1985 comedy western (could be described as a Spaghetti-Western parody) starring Tab Hunter, Divine, Lainie Kazan, Geoffrey Lewis, Henry Silva and Woody Strode !!!
Pretty silly stuff but no stupid slapstick comedy… I kinda liked and enjoyed it… there’re far worse comedies out there.
