The Last Movie You Watched?

Haven’t seen any of them myself.

I’ve got to go with the boring choice of THE DEVIL’S REJECTS. I know everybody says that, but I do find it to be his best work.

Not seen The Lords of Salem yet, but his other films are just average for me.

I unintentionally died laughing at THE LORDS OF SALEM. I found it to be downright pitiful.

My lady likes animated films so … ::slight_smile:

Nice :D. Always one of Truffaut’s dismissed movies, but I appreciate it a lot, despite the evident awkwardness around the dialogue and the weak ending. As dystopia’s go, it is remarkably effective, probably because it’s rare to be shown one where most people actually seem to like the world they live in.

How Truffaut interpreted Bradbury, I think. Straightforwardly, with no need to overstate the tyranny.

I like Fahrenheit 451 a lot. It’s sporadically a little silly, but as far as the entertainment factor is concerned, I enjoy every minute of it. I must confess I found the book burning scenes extremely intimidating and unpleasant to watch.

And that has changed. He’s now announced his next film will be another in the horror genre. I hope it’s T-REX!

Il Grande Racket - okay for a watch 3/5

The White Storm (2013)- This was better than I expected. Very good action/drama flick that is quite entertaining with a good cast. 8/10

Ender’s Game (2013)- Heh…for kids only, worst pacing I’ve seen in awhile, had to fast forward to make it to the end. Not my cup of tea. 5/10

3 Bullets for Ringo (1966) What a mess this one turned out to be, just about everything in this dog shit of a spagh was pretty awful. Except for maybe ( Gordon Mitchell ) who looked like he was having a grand time with his character. 4/10

The Manhunt (1984).

Simple story of a man who gets in prison re a couple of horses he owns. Straight forward kind of film which does run like a western story alot of the time, even though the main lead is a bit wooden. But a good supporting cast make up for that a little.

Changeling (2008)

Eastwood’s directing was nothing fancy, but the story is very interesting, and he sure does know how to tell good old-school, gripping story. More could have been done in acting department, though.
even though the main lead is a bit wooden.
As opposed to extremely wooden like his father ;D

Great supporting cast though.

If youre in the mood for something very weird and dark in Spanish you might like Tony Manero. I thought it was going to be about a John Travolta impersonator. Well it is but things take a change to the dark side very fast! Interesting film though.

Street Law - one of the Castellari’s best imo, absolutely enjoyed this piece alongside with Franco’s performance - great soundtrack btw

Absolutely tomas. Along with Bava’s Rabid Dogs, this has to be one of the best poliziotteschi films ever made.

Rabid Dogs added to my watchpile

Watch it as soon as possible, tomas. It’s a grindhouse treasure - sleazy, sultry, sweaty and filthy, i.e. something which has to be watched by every niche film geek like you and me.
