Has anyone seen the UK DVD under the Storm Rider title. It is certainly a good price and I am not too concerned about a couple of cut scenes, but how is the quality?
Iāve just been in contact with Pegasus (the company whose release this is) and they are sending me copies to review of all their Spaghettis so Iāll hopefully be able to give some detailed information in the next week or so.
Yes, they do seem like nice folk. Letās hope their DVDs are ok too. They do seem to concentrate at the lower end of the market for the most part. But theyāve released 3 spaghettis so far. One of which (Adios Sabata) also has an MGM release here so Iām intrigued as to the quality and source.
I have always avoided personal contact with people (writers, film makers, philosophers) whose work I had to review or judge: it may affect (or better: it inevitably affects) your judgment.

A valid point Scherps but Iām happy enough being critical if I think itās warranted. And a chat with a sales manager doesnāt constitute too deep a relationship.
Iāve received the discs from Pegasus and will put up a review as soon as I can.
At a glance, the picture quality is not great. Widescreen, but faded and not too sharp. In fact it looks pretty much identical to the Region 1 public domain releases from Mill Creek or St Clair.
Thanks for the review, think Iāll get this one. See it a few times on late night TV and not my favourite, but for the price you can find it here in the UK, hardly going to make a dent in the wallet.
