None of the Godfather films have ever appealed to me, but agree the third one is the worst.
Leonard Part-6… ugh… There never was a ‘1,2,3,4,5’… just the film’s attempt to cash-in on the 80’s retro adventure-serial craze. A reunion of Cosby and Culp for a big-screen version of I SPY would’ve been a more sure-fire moneymaker.

Due to some new furniture I was making some DVD rearrangements, and while watching some tiles it reminded that there’s actually a sequel that (for me at leas) is better or at least as good as the first film, that was already very good its Manon des sources: Jean de Florette 2e partie, first film avec Montand Depardieu Auteuil, was already a great film, but Manon de Sources with Emmanuelle Beart it’s even better or least as good as the first one.
One reason might be that both of those films were shot back-to-back, so they were essentially the same production. Sort of like the way Richard Lester did his first two Three Musketeers films.
…Just thought of another that suffered when the original auteur didn’t come back for the sequel – whatever the Donnie Darko follow-up was called.

Well Sartana1968 has five of the Friday the 13th sequels in his top ten all time favorite movies list, regardless of genre. So I’m guessing the answer is yes lol.

And I really like HALLOWEEN III Season of the Witch. I would’ve preferred another sequel with Big Mike, but I like the direction that Carpy took with that sequel.

I concur with a lot of your choices. Freddy needs put out to pasture, as does Chucky (though I enjoyed CURSE) and Pinhead. The WRONG TURN series is simply awful, while THE HILLS HAVE EYES has misfired on both its attempts. A dog with flashbacks?
And the less said about CREEPSHOW 3 the better.
The Matrix Reloaded/The Matrix Revolutions almost undid all of the fine work done by The Matrix. Highlander II: The Quickening DID undo all of the fine work done by Highlander. I’ve never bothered with any of the other Highlander sequels. Never bothered with Highlander ever again after I saw Highlander II, come to think of it.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Ghostbusters 2, Terminator 3, even though they’re not made yet: Star Wars episode 7, 8 and 9…it’s being made by Disney…you know it’s gonna be crap.
