if i may complain once again, LOTR Return Of The King was surprisingly disappointing
Yeah, easily the worst of the three, with what felt like at least 5 different endings tacked on - but then again, if you ask me, the whole series shouldn’t have happened. Can’t believe it’s the same guy who made the brilliant King Kong afterwards…
on the other hand, some people can’t believe he made King Kong afterwards
i quite liked KK, mostly the middle part with dinos and insects or what have you, but first two LOTR are pretty good too

I have only seen Terminator Salvation. Not great, but not as bad as it’s reputed to be.
I was not disappointed. I saw it twice at the cinema. I’ve watched the extended editions of all 3 films several times and I love them. Some of my most favourite films. But of course this isn’t the right message board to be saying this on lol.
I thought Return of the King was one of the better of the 3, and liked them all
Haven’t yet been able to sit through King Kong and doubt I will ever bother with trying
Also a fan of:
Phantasm 4
TCM 2 (already stated many times here)
Highlander 2 is alright if just watching it as a curiosity - some interesting things about the film in that its just a weird movie. Highlander 3 is more of a return to the original spirit, and I remember liking it a lot when it first came out. I haven’t seen it since then though, and haven’t watched any of them in a long time.
Friday the 13th part 7 through to 9. Saw them, confused the whole idea of Jason. I liked him being a disfigured loner, who killed anyone who trespassed on Crystal Lake, to avenge his mother rather than some supernatural crap. Part 6 was just fun, and Alice Cooper did the cheesiest film songs ever. And the Avatar movies coming out later. I watched the first one in the cinema with my family, and my grandma, and we all slept through it.
The Return of Clint the Stranger
The Return of Sabata
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Speed 2: Cruise Control
The Colour of Money…a very belated follow up.
Good point. -Because Newman’s Drowning-Pool sequel to Harper was timely and very-well faithful to the reality created.
Newman kinda looked lost in TCOM.
i like all 8 friday the 13ths still wait for uncut versions :(
Yeah, I know what you mean. Doubt we’ll ever see them from Cashamount.
As mentioned, I’m a big fan of the first five F13 films. Once Jason returned as Zombie Sultan, though, I quickly lost interest.
Going one step further, I really wish they had run with the end of A NEW BEGINNING and had Tommy Jarvis return as the killer. I would’ve like to see that.
Unfortunately, returns were down for the film and Jason was resurrected… oh well.
Once Upon a Time in China 3 and up. The first two were gold, and started the brief resurgence of period kung fu movies in the '90s.

some day it will re-released paramount all the series uncut, i hope before 2020
Unfortunately, I’ve heard that a lot of the footage was lost. Don’t take my word as gold, though. I hope my sources have just been wrong and we that uncut material!
friday 7 the new blood has lost almost 15 scenes of gore
Yeah, it lost a lot.
I saw Kane Hodder show the uncut version at a con years ago. It definitely helped a lackluster film.

yes kane nodder and director has the uncut print at their houses
Any chance then of a future release with the 15 seconds included?

A lot of the footage was also released on the FROM CRYSTAL LAKE TO MANHATTAN boxset. Do you have that?
