Starship Troopers 2 is indeed one of the worst things I’ve ever seen, I stopped it after 20 minutes or so, hopeless
Rambo III is awful, but I found it somehow … what shall I say … funny ? … to see the Taliban being depicted as the good guys.

Darkman 2 was expected to be bad in my opinion. No Liam Neeson, no Sam Raimi, no budget, straight to video only. Yeah why did they even bother?
I liked Alien 3 Directors Cut a lot. They fixed the problems with the original release… its such a shame they didn’t just let Fincher release his version originally.
That’s the first version I saw, disliked it very much. The worse elements of the films are present in both version, in my opinion (the ultra-cheap deaths of Hicks and Newt, ruining Bishop’s character, lack of suspense and the lack of any remotely interesting characters). And is it really David Fincher’s Director Cut? He disowned the film completely, didn’t he? Even refused to participate in the whole box set thing.
I liked Alien 3, only seen the regular version though.
4 on the other hand I thought was a piece of shit.
Alien 3 is not bad, like all 4 Alien films, but it could be better. A good 6/10 film for me in the theatrical version.
Your point sums up my purpose of this thread exactly. I just wished this film never happened. It just ruined part 2 very cheaply
I thought the prisoners were more likable in the new version… the extra 30 minutes added a lot I thought.

But the first Crank was a piece of shit.
For me, these are the worst. They actually managed to undermine the first movie, which was brilliant and didn’t need a follow up.
I think you maybe need to see the first movie again. Freddie was always a bit like that and there are some scenes which look completely ridiculous now.
Yeah, it was alright, even if it doesn’t live up to the brilliance of Chinatown. From what I recall, it was just a bit too convoluted.
A major disappointment for me too. It could have been so much better.

For what it was, I thought Crank was awesome! Ooh…Those Matrix sequels were bad…really bad.

Matrix 2 was good with some tremendous action scenes. But things already began to went wrong, and Matrix 3 was then often a hopeless mess.
Well, the Wachowskis had all chances to make something special, and I’m still surprised they that they wasted them all. Even commercially it went down.

Watched recently their Speed Racer, which treated a deliberately naive story pretty well with stunning visuals. 7/10
