RIP Herr Kruger, you made us love you and hate you with grace and skill in your roles.
Just learned one of my all time favorite singers, Meat Loaf, has passed away at age 74. Rumors abound he died of COVID related symptoms, though he’d battled consistent health issues for most of his life, so what the cause of death was is still pending. RIP, the Bat Out of Hell made it to Heaven.
That is tremendously sad news. RIP
R.I.P. Barry Cryer, aged 86
An actor, comedian and writer of extraordinary talent and genius…
Anyone remember ‘Jokers Wild’?
R.I.P, Barry. You will be missed.
Sad news. She was very popular in her day.
I’m a big fan of Monica … that’s a bummer !
Very sad to hear. RIP.
RIP Signora Vitti, we’ll always remember you as Antonioni’s Muse and as Modesty Blaise.
ROBERT (BOB) WALL, aged 82. R.I.P.
Martial arts expert who is famous for having fought, and been defeated by Bruce Lee on screen in both ‘Way of the Dragon’ (1972), and ‘Enter the Dragon’ (1973).
Bob also appeared in the later film, Game of Death’, 1978, which was a poor cash-in on Bruce’s legend, featuring Lee doubles, and re-using clips from his films.
R.I.P. Bob Wall
Another sad bit of news. RIP to a martial arts legend and founder of “The Dirty Dozen”.
Just saw on FB:
RIP Margarita Lozano (Consuelo Baxter). %he last survivors of the film are Clint Eastwood, Marianne Koch and Nino de Arco
R.I.P Margarita Lozano
Immortalised forever as Consuelo Baxter in 1964’s ‘A Fistful of Dollars’.
R.I.P., Margarita.
R.I.P. Margarita
There is also Bruno Carotenuto / Carol Brown (Antonio Baxter).
R.I.P…two greats of British TV comedy from yesteryear…
Anna Karen and Jack Smethurst.
They were of their time…and should be viewed now with that in mind.
Whatever, they brought many a smile to my family when I was just a wee kid…and remember that it was the time of ‘Carry On’ and the saucy postcard…
ANNA KAREN (Olive in ‘On the Buses’).
JACK SMETHURST (Eddie in ‘Love Thy Neighbour’)

MITCHELL RYAN, R.I.P.
American Film and TV actor, Mitchell Ryan, has died in Los Angeles, at the grand age of 88.
He originally played as a regular in TV’s ‘Dark Shadows’ (1966), but then went on to appear in many memorable movies, including ‘Monte Walsh’ (1970); ‘Magnum Force’ and ‘High Plains Drifter’ (both 1973, alongside Clint Eastwood); and ‘Lethal Weapon’ (1987), appearing with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover.
R.I.P.
A highly underappreciated actor that could play a vile villain or a comedic goof and anything in between with ease. RIP.
Mitch Ryan did a fine job with every role they gave him, even when the film itself could be lacking in things. My Mom is a Dark Shadows fan, she watched it back when it originally aired, and then she got me interested in it. She didn’t see the Mitch Ryan episodes though, and only in like the last decade did they finally release the first 209 pre-Barnabas era episodes on DVD along with the rest of the episodes that already saw DVD release. When Ryan was on the show it was more like your typical Soap Opera but with a little more of a moody atmosphere.
