I’ll always remember her mostly as Hera in Jason & the Argonauts.
R.I.P. Honor Blackman.
A terrific actress, and iconic Bond lady, who has left behind a wealth of celluloid memories.
Yes, sad to hear of her passing
RIP
R.I.P. James Drury.
I used to love watching ‘The Virginian’ on TV when I was a kid. It was a time when classic TV Westerns such as ‘Bonanza’, ‘The High Chaparral’, and ‘Rawhide’ were essential viewing.
Another of my boyhood favorites, and one of my Mom’s favorites too.
R.I.P. SIR STIRLING MOSS, Formula 1 legend.
One of the racing greats of yesteryear.
RIP Brian Dennehy
Another familiar screen face, just read that he died at the age of81
R.I.P. Brian Dennehy
Excellent actor, with a great on-screen persona. Among many roles, he was particularly bad-assed as the sheriff, in ‘First Blood’, and as the crooked law-man, in ‘Silverado’.
Another of the solid Old School character actors gone, RIP.
He was outstanding as John Wayne Gacy in To Catch a Killer (Till, 1992). Creepy as f#ck.
RIP

R.I.P. Gene Deitch, animator/director, aged 95.
This is the gentleman who produced ‘Popeye’, and ‘Tom & Jerry’.
R.I.P., Sir. Thank you for the child-hood memories.
Father of comix artist Kim Deitch, who’s 75.
Thank you for that info.
Wow! I didn’t know he helped out with Popeye and Tom & Jerry. I mainly remember him from when he did Tomi Ungerer’s The Three Robbers, my all time favorite story as a youth. RIP to probably the last great old school animators.
R.I.P ‘Little Richard’
Pioneering rock ‘n’ roll singer, Little Richard, has died at the age of 87.
The wild-cat singer, born in Georgia, as Richard Wayne Penniman, was among the first group of inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in 1986.
Little Richard’s hits included ‘Good Golly, Miss Molly’, which made the UK charts in 1958.
The Beatles, Elton John and Elvis all cited him as an influence on their work.
His other well-known songs included ‘Tutti Frutti’, and ‘Long Tall Sally’.
I love the 50s Rockers and Little Richard was always a favourite. He was a genuine legend and preacher! Now I bet it was never boring at his Church!!

RIP to a music legend. Haven’t thought about Little Richard in years.
Just saw on my WordPress feed that Michel Piccoli, the iconic French character actor, has passed away at 94. I knew him mostly for his work with Luis Bunuel, but thought some of his best stuff was Le Doulos for Jean-Pierre Melville, and The Young Girls of Rochefort & Une Chambre en Ville for Jacques Demy. RIP to a fine performer.
Yes Piccoli had an incredile list of credits as an actor
RIP
