Yes, seeing a few accounts on Twitter reporting that George Hilton has indeed passed away, aged 85.

I see Tom Betts published on his blog that old Wikipedia bio’ that claims Hilton grew up in England.
This isn’t the case - I met George in Almeria 2013, and asked him about it. He had no idea where that info came from, but he never lived in England.
At any rate, sad news that another of the great SW icons has gone.
Oh man, I was starting a series of letters to some of my favorite old school actors and actresses, and George Hilton was on the list.
Daniel Carmago, who did the recent documentary on Hilton’s life and career, sent me a comment on my WordPress blog a while back thanking me for the nice write ups I was doing on Hilton’s films, and a little spotlight on Hilton himself.
RIP to a highly talented and unfairly underrated actor.
RIP George…Thx for the Spaghs.
That was a really heartfelt message she wrote too. I hope she’s doing well, pretty devastating to lose somebody you’ve known for 27 years.
Gee’s I’m pretty damn heartbroken right now. George’s films really lifted my spirits in some bad times, I can’t believe Alleujah’s gone.
RIP to one of the best actors in Western Spaghetti.
Remember some years ago when he was also declared dead and posted a video saying that those rumours were somewhat exagerrated. RIP George Hilton. One of the finest actors in Italian genre cinema.
Very sad news. Hilton was a genuine spaghetti legend.
R.I.P. George Hilton. Very sad to hear!
R.I.P. George Hilton.
I think he was always awesome on screen, smiling most of the time…
I found this little montage on facebook.
RIP George Hilton. I’ve seen so many of his spaghettis over the years. I enjoyed seeing him interviewed in the Sartana box set by Arrow. I’ll have to check out this documentary about him.
Apparently Robert Dell’Acqua passed away
One of the lesser known, but still highly talented stuntman/actor. His interview for the one Sartana film on the Arrow set was really interesting and informative on not only his career, but the Italian film business as well. RIP.
Robert Forster died yesterday after a brief battle with brain cancer, on the same day that Netflix released the feature-length Breaking Bad epilogue El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (Gilligan, 2019) in which Mr. Forster featured quite prominently. He was 78.
RIP
Paco Fabrini
Just read this on Tom B’s site.
Really sad news.
RIP Maurizio Graf. Italian singer actor and performer Maurizio Graf passed away on October 25 in Lugo, Rome, Italy. He was 78. Graf was born in Gorizia, Italy in 1941 and was one of the most recognized and legendary voices of the Euro-western genre. He’s best remembered for his vocals on “A Pistol for Ringo” and “The Return of Ringo” (1965), but also for his song “Find a Man from” from 1968’s “Johnny Hamlet” (aka The Wild and the Dirty”. He also sang the main themes for “Killer Caliber .32” (1967).
Definitely the most iconic vocalist in the history of the genre alongside Edda Dell’Orso. Sad news indeed.
RIP
Find a Man was his best song, but for some reason I thought he overdid both the Ringo songs. When I first heard him sing I thought he was one of the couple of American singers who found success doing Western songs in Italy as he had no hint of an accent, which is a credit to his dedication and talent. RIP.
Find a Man is a great song but, for me, Return of Ringo was his finest.
This really hurts to read, one of my favorite’s in the genre and even outside. He really put love into his music.
