I never cared much for that one. It was a nice comic book movie, though, I just never saw the big deal a lot of people made over it and that was before the most complete version hit dvd legitimately.
Here’s my thai poster for FIVE VENOMS signed by the Toad himself, Lo Mang!!!
Fellers, I’ve seen an interesting documentary about martial arts films called “Chop Socky-Cinema Hong Kong”. I found it really interesting and informative but I don’t know very much about these types of films.
I’d like to recommend it but I don’t know how it would be for really knowledgable fans such as yourselves.
It is by the Independent Film Channel, the same folks who produced The Spaghetti West docu.
Check it out if you think it might appeal to you:
the sequel to MAGIC BLADE, or prequel more accurately…
oh, damn, here’s another ti Lung wuxia that’s a favorite of mine. Below are both the Thai and HK versions…
man you have a ton of posters… sick stuff.
Romaine, thanks for the link - I’ll check it out.
You guys made me somehow hungry for more Shaw Brothers Movies!
Another Ti Lung I rember well is Soul of the Sword. Ti Lung is a Swordfighter without Name in that and there are some twists in the story.

I haven’t seen this one but Celestial did three hour long docs that played on digital cable for several years. They were…
CINEMA HK: SWORDPLAY
CINEMA HK: KUNG FU
CINEMA HK: SHAW BEAUTIES
Here’s some b/w stills from the movie starring Ti Lung and David Chiang, THE PIRATE (1973)…
Ti Lung in one of the last Shaw productions. OPIUM & THE KUNG FU MASTER which just came out here on legit dvd and blu ray…
Here’s the poster for the sequel to CLANS OF INTRIGUE…
Chang Cheh’s movie starring Richard Harrison as…
One of my all time favorite movies…
Some more venom stuff for Talby…
Thanks for sharing those posters - solid stuff. Flag of Iron is awesome… I like The Heroic Ones and Legend of the Bat (the movies).
No problem, Talby. I got LOADS more. And that aint counting the indy ones I got posters and lobby sets for, either. ;D
HEROIC ONES is awesome. I just wish I knew the origin of the main theme was from. It’s so epic. That theme was used on a number of other movies, too. I don’t know if it was taken from another movie or the deWolfe library in NY. A lot of music was used from that library and a number of American films and tv shows did, too. George Romero used deWolfe canned music on most all his movies up to the late 80’s.
Here’s the HK CLAN FEUDS poster. This movie is great. I love the villain with the bloodsucking sword…
Ti Lung again for you Talby. I got the thai one, too…
A little Gordon Liu…
Fu Sheng’s best performance…
Dirty Ho… best title ever!
Chang Cheh’s epic production, BOXER REBELLION that ran into a lot of censorship problems. Richard Harrison has a major role here…
The first to feature authentic Shaolin martial arts styles, HEROES TWO…
The unreleased legitimately TO KILL A MASTERMIND. I have a so-so quality boot of it…
Oddly enough, the American distributors left the title alone. Maybe they were trying to capitalize on the DIRTY HARRY name?
the thai poster for MARCO POLO. You can see Harrison to the middle…
One of Chen Kuan Tai and Yueh Hua’s best, IMO…
This is the one that started a slew of white haired villain movies beginning with the real life bad guy Pai Mei…
Some Shaw horror…
