Human Lanterns poster is very cool so is Hex
this poster would leave you to believe the film was a zany excursion in depravity, but itās actually rather serious and often nasty little film. The sequel below it, however, is one of the wildest, craziest and OTT cinematic experiences you will ever seeā¦
the sequel to the above filmā¦
the unreleased on dvd and rare CURSE OF EVIL. This poster is interesting. It uses a modified version of the poster for the Shawās co-production of INSEMINOIDā¦
their horror movie posters are pretty crazy in a good way
The Image dvd for HUMAN LANTERNS is more complete than the HK disc. HEX is one of the best HK horrors IMO. Itās a Chinese variation on DIABOLIQUE and also mixes in one of the segments from KWAIDAN for good measure. A great deal of nudity at the end, too when a well endowed woman does an erotic dance to exorcise some demons.

damn man you could open your open gallery of HK action movie poster and lobby cards
Now Iām steadily accumulating a large collection of Shawās own promotional magazines Southern Screen and HK Movie News. Iāve got around 60 mags total so far from the years 1968 to 1983.
Yes like you say Wang Yu was not a real martial artist, Bruce Lee was, thatās my point
And I was refering to Chinese Boxer for example, you wonāt find the true skills of Lee in that movie, thatās for sure
Lee also changed the attitudes to martial arts training, and developed his own way of fighting, thatās what I meant by common knowledge
Iām not saying Shaw Brothers films are bad and I havenāt seen all hundreds of them, sword films and all, Iām just saying thereās a difference between the fights in early Shaw movies and the fights in Bruce Leeās movies
I was quite surprised to learn recently that due Leeās lack of acrobatic skills that doubles were brought in to perform that function in his films so everything you see is not necessarily him.
Shaw stunt man and frequent supporting actor Yuen Wah did all his jumping stunts in ENTER THE DRAGON. He did the flip at the beginning where Lee jumps over the group of men holding their hands up and he also did the back flip kick to Bob Wallās face (the guy with the broken bottle in his hand).
You convinced me.Just ordered this title from Amazon!
PORTRAIT IN CRYSTAL b/w lobbies. These are the only two I have of this setā¦

You wonāt be disappointed. Itās a wonderful film with an unusually good storyline with an important message behind it.
Some more venoms stuff for Talby. This LIFE GAMBLE poster was signed by Lo Mang when I met him in August of 2006ā¦

Some more venoms for Talby. The first two were both signed by Lo Mangā¦
I seem to have misplaced pics for my posters of the venom movies, SHAOLIN RESCUERS and REBEL INTRUDERS.
Hey AF how is the Sword Stained With Royal Blood? Being a fan of the Venoms does it stack up to their better movies?
Two Champions of Shaolin and Invincible Shaolin are two of my favorite Venom movies
