Viewed Dag Kurdu.

A man is released from prison, but soon finds he is a wanted man as he knows where some gold is hidden.

With a running time less than an hour this is only a short film but does feel like watching a Spaghetti western most of the time. Like the Rev said in another thread the film is based on Run Man Run. Plenty of Spaghetti music to be heard, aswell as some tracks from Two Mules For Sister Sara.

For all the Turkisch speaking members here
(I’m amazed so many speak Turkish, I ask my friend to translate if needed)

Just reading that booklet that came with the Anchor Bay double Django set - and it mentions loads of “Django” films. There’s one called Django, Rider of Death
“Now a pistolero, Django brings law and order to a small village in the wild west by unmasking a gang of outlaws. Directed by Remzi Conturk, starring Figen Say, Tunc Oral (according to a 1968 Turkish film annual).”
That’s what is says, (sorry if it’s been mentioned before) - anybody know owt? Think it must be this one…

That’s awsome! Love kebab!

This Turkish mystery is solved by the way ;D.

;D heh heh heh! ;D

To put this topic up,
as far as I understand the title of of the film is "I west"
I like the trailer!

do not know if this is were i should ask this question but here it goes:
i never ordered anything via mail outside of the u.s.a exept for canada. i never had to but i am finding it more and more hard to find real dvds anywere else except out side the u.s.a. i want to order a kebab western from the company you guys get your kebab westerns from on ebay but i have no idea how it works? i mean they charge 3 dollars shipping and they ship out next day and say shipping time is about 10-14 days for u.s.a, so how has the experiance worked out for anybody who has ordered from this company in the past gone?

How much do these films cost on the place you want to buy them from?

Looks like this has a theatrical release in The Netherlands. Will probably wait for the dvd though.
Looks like a fun flick.

There’s also some inside jokes with Yilmaz Köksal playing a carachter named Ceko ;).

Yeah, noticed that. Sheriff Ceko, haha.

HEY SILENCE, THEY COST ABOT 15 DOLLARS U.S AND 3 BUCKS SHIPPING

I would advice you not to buy them.

Why not buy them? He goes to some effort to dub 'em. Of course, there’s bound to be a few trade copies ::slight_smile: floating off to some of our more skint members, but I put my hand in my pocket initially. I would advise, if you can afford - buy and support. The more bought - the more released… maybe. In the case of AC Kurtlar, I got the original legit release (of course, not really much use to me as it comes with subbed dvdr - which is what I really wanted), but Silence - lookit my lovely Yilmaz Guney embroidered somethingorother that I got as a free gift. Now, that’s priceless! I bet yer jealous now! :stuck_out_tongue: ;D
