James Bond

Bond should fight some Nazis. Or zombies. Or Nazi zombies.
Now that I 'd watch.

This lot …? Ha ha - I’ve been thinlking of getting this, not because it’s “The most terrifying zombie massacre ever to come to the screen!”, but because it’s meant to be in the “it’s so shit it’s good” category. That and it’s a Rollin job with lots of gratuitous nudity. ;D

Hmm, I think there are better Nazi Zombie films out there. Maybe you should check out Dead Snow. Dead Snow (2009) - IMDb

Indeed - I’m certain it’s gonna be a better film. But I like the idea of zombies whos green make-up isn’t waterproof, naked teens paddling in the shallows being cut to nazi-zombies who are actually underneath them in 10 foot of water? This appeals for some reason. Rollin’s nonsense is on my radar at the moment.

Sounds like you are on a mission for some fun Reverend  .

Here are some more 1960s James Bond toys ;D

I merged this topic with an older 007 topic.

Not forgetting the blatant swimming pool standing in for the lake!

Thaks, but when I searched for this to see if there was already a topic about James Bond, this didn’t appear!
I think the girl who played Kerim Bey’s girlfriend is also in the pre-credits sequence in Goldfinger

Swedish Maud Adams was in a couple of the later Roger Moore Bonds
And in thinking about it more I remembered that the character of Sylvia Trench, one of Bond’s off duty squeezes, was in both of the first two pictures. I looked her up and discovered she was played in both films by Eunice Gayson. Not a name I remembered but her face was distinctive.

I called the thread 007. I’ve changed the name, but all the older posts still refer to initial title.

Watched Goldfinger with the family last night which was great fun for all involved. Although the girls were somewhat emotionally traumatized when confronted with the sartorial disaster of Sean Connery’s pale blue terry toweling zip up shorty short all in one suit. :o (see picture)

Not his best look although the girls are all convinced I should get one before our next holiday. They could be right of course. I may be just the man to carry the outfit off with a suitable level of style and dignity.

That’s why the German DVD is still rated FSK 16.

Forgot about that…looks very bizarre.

Please do include pics of this.

Tell Adolfo Celi to send a shark and eat this lame excuse of a lady killer

WARNING: Wearing clothing of this sort may lead to further outfit disasters, like wearing what my kids refer to as “beach underwear” like the all the Brazilians here wear, even in the icy cold Atlantic. (Which produces a different sort of “disaster”)!

In my opinion the quality of the Bond movies steadily declined during the years. Thats the normal case with sequels. The peak was Goldfinger and the previous (From Russia with love) and follwoing ( Thunderball) respectively. The Moore-Bonds did not have the same quality as the Connery-movies but were also very entertaining due to its outstanding humor. The worst “Bond” so far was “Die Another Day”. The last two movies are “uncompetitive” cos they are normal actioners without “Bond”-style and flair. If there wasn’t the theme people wouldn’t even recognise that they were Bond-Movies. As movies they are better than “Die Another Day” but they assassinated Bond. Thats only my modest opinion.

They barely have the theme in there for the last 2, only the end credits really
