Some secondhand movies I found at a shop in Essen.
‘Shanghai Joe’ is one of my favourite SW.s…
I get the impression that you are a happy bunny…
A great buy there, amigo. Enjoy.
My all time favourite film.
Well not really, but it’s a damn entertaining one! Despite Nicolai’s recycled Sartana tunes.
I’ve just bought the extended soundtrack CD of ‘Per Qualche Dollaro in Piu’ (For A Few Dollars More’) from ‘Amazon UK’…
I know that I will live to regret it if I don’t grab the opportunity to snap up this Ennio Morricone gem, while it’s available.
The CD features the LP’s original relatively short eight track stereo score, accompanied by numerous other slices of delight and cues from the film, but this time presented in mono.
To my mind, this is the perfect way to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sergio Leone’s second SW success…
Ordered off Amazon.de for £11 including p&p. Guy Madison as Wyatt Earp. Plus Sancho and Massimo Serato who I just saw in the last Sartana movie. Can’t wait.
Very nice upgrade of this one.
If I were interested in any of their other releases I’d certainly have gone for more. Good stuff.
Is this correct " * Audio: French, English, Italian, Spanish" from the SW data base ?
In that case I should upgrade my DVD.
Ooops, yes it states so on the back cover as well !
Arrival Feb 10 “garantizada” according to Amazon.es is muy rapido
My newest fliks just arrived…
The New Entertainment World Dvd release of Anthony Steffen’s W Django (100% uncut), and a massive quality improvement on my previous copy, and the Odeon Dvd of The Man Called Noon with Richard Crenna
I’ve taken the plunge on the Arrow Fistful of Dollars, mainly for the Italian language version with English subs.
Disappointed not Italian version on the other two. Must be some form of rights issue I guess (as both made by PEA whereas fistful by Jolly) although especially odd on TGTBTU given availability of numerous deleted scenes which were in Italian only. Other PEA westerns where MGM/UA hold English rights such as The Mercenary and the Sabata movies don’t have Italian tracks on their English Blu Ray releases either. The Big Gundown does but that was a Columbia release so rights issues may be different.
