I Just Bought … (the SW Shopping Diary)

These just came in from France. I already had the rest of the available westerns on blu-ray. Curious if I’m the only one who ordered some of these steelbooks.

Nice. Do these all include english audio or subs?

According to the label (and hence the SWDb listings) they do, but I would love some fact checking by customers as well

https://www.spaghetti-western.net/index.php/Cangaceiro,_O/BluRay

O’ Cangaceiro has English or French subs. With either Italian or French audio options.

Et… Sabata les tua tous has French subs only. With English, Italian or French audio options.

Pistolets pour un massacre has French subs only. With English, Italian, Spanish, and French audio options.

Just got:

  • Koch Blu Ray of Jesse and Lester with Harrison and O’Brien. Yes I know this is supposed to be awful. But I have never seen it and it was quite cheap.
  • German DVD of Viva Django with Steffen and Lee Lawrence, Front cover says it is directed by Eduardo Fajardo!! This was only about £6 including p&p on Amazon and there are a few copies left. I know nothing about this one but its the second paring of Steffen/Lee Lawrence after Garringo. English dialogue promised.

Viva Sabata , you mean?

Yes - my bad, DVD title is Man Nannte ihn Sabata.

Have not opened it yet to see what print they have got. Will get to in about 6 months.

German only, and not the best print, but still a major improvement compared tor the fullscreen English public domain version. The latter being way shorter as well. Best available option, so far.
