I just bought.... (the CD/LP shopping diary!)

Just got a nice bunch of Italian movie soundtracks in the mail and among them a couple of spaghetti western scores:

Johnny Yuma (GDM) + Zanna Bianca alla riscossa (Saimel)

Just arrived from the States:
Uno di piu’ all’ inferno
I vigliacchi non pregano
Odia il prossimo tuo

Here they are:

Bought this lp at a second hand store for a euro. Not rare, but I always loved the design.

Nice price Bad Lieutenant  .

Just bought Tom Waits’ Mule Variations from eBay for a very reasonable price.

Picked up a Peter Trevis L.P today at a local market:

I have just got ‘Attori a mano armata’ ordered from www.juno.co.uk for modest price of EUR 14.77. It’s a pity that this otherwise very fine on-line store has almost no soundtrack in database.

The postman who always rings twice  bring to me ‘Lo voglio morto’, ‘Comin’ at Ya’ and ‘Uno dopo l’altro’.

1,60 € !

This is sort of my first SW soundtrack buy…
Holy Ghost, And the Crows Will Dig Your Grave

Seriously love the music in ‘And the Crows Will Dig Your Grave’, didn’t know this was available.

I have just got my very first Verita Note CD ‘Indio Black’ ordered from CDJapan. It was not so expensive because they hadn’t charged me for shipping!? And it has arrived quickly from Japan for only 10 days.

Hi, Soren!

Any idea where I might be able to get the JOHNNY YUMA soundtrack?
I was not aware that it had been released until I saw your post, today.
All the usual soundtrack sources I use do not have it listed. It is quite possible that the limited edition has already sold out.
That thought makes me really sad as this is truly one of my all-time favorite SW scores.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, amigo!

All the best,
Chris

Gracias, hombre!
I am giving that a try! I have never ordered from this company before, so I hope it all goes well.
Not to be whining, but I could just barely afford this CD (the USD to EURO exchange rate is terrible, for me!); but, I just HAD to have this one!!
Hope it is still in stock and all…

Thanks, again, Ennioo!!!

I think soundtrackcorner.de only shows what they currently have in stock but if they should fail Chris you could always try onlyscore:

http://www.onlyscore.com/soundtracks/detail/johnny_yuma.htm

which should have it in stock also.

It does seem to be going slowly oop though so you should probably hurry. No of my usual vendors seem to carry it anymore. Damn those limited editions.

Thanks very much, Søren!

Apparently, Chris’ Soundtrack Corner still had it available, because I received a message (yesterday) that the CD had shipped.
I am really anxious to get this disc, as I truly love Orlandi’s score for this film (actually I love all of Orlandi’s scores, that I have heard so far).

Gracias otra vez to Søren and Ennioo!

Asked the same thing in the other Soundtrack thread… is Only Score good?

The OnlyScore is very good, just look at venteless seller rating at Italian ebay, 99.8% positive feedback of 2440 transactions. But on other hand, it is very expensive except for Jonny Yuma  . For Japanese stuff, I would strongly recommend CDJapan store. One can get 300 yens for opening account, another 300 yens for birthday and the other 500 yens for order over 3000 yens till 31th of December.

Well, I’m looking for the Piero Piccioni Western Quartet, they have it for a good price. It’s also available at a Swedish store but rather expensive, and I’m also not so sure about the delivery as it’s import. When I bought Sabata import in Sweden it took a month for it to arrive. How’s the delivery at Only Score?
