I just heard the Great Silence score which is one of Morricone's most atmospheric in my opinion. Whenever I hear it I see a horse wading over snow-clad hills. It's very downplayed and silent music which is of course perfect for the beauty and white stillness on the screen but which also seems fitting to the violence happening on screen making it work that much stronger.
I am sorry to say that I ejected the cd after the Great Silence score was done and went for the next spaghetti in the pile.... I'll listen to Un bellissimo Novembre next time. Haven't seen the movie so can't readily relate to the soundtrack. But next time. I promise
