Some singles I bought in januari februari april and march (a whole bunch) (a lot of spaghetti’s) (imagine they are on my jukebox and every morning I wake up with the best music I know… (a second bunch will follow (if allowed))
Some singles I bought in 2017, some I have to pay a lot of money, but it is worth the money when they blast through the speakers of the jukebox. The fourth one is an EP on 33rpm.
In december 2017 I got a lot of christmas vouchers to buy some cd’s; which I did : almost 70 pieces of wonderfull spaghetti western music and some euro-westerns and some Hollywood westerns. Me Happy !!!
In november 2018 a got two deals with Beat records and with Digitmovies for a reduction off 20% of the total amount. My wife went wild when she saw the 2 boxes coming with the postman 83 new ones !!
I started buying soundtracks in the summer of 2017 and was searching on the www net, where I could find them. In three months july/august/september I bought only 21 cd’s. ( and 1 bear family box)
A fantastic box with all the movie soundtracks from all the John Wayne movies together with a big fat book.
Hi Nick, I am mainly a sixties music lover , secondly I love also western movies and specialy the spaghetti westerns. As a music lover, I can be touched and deeply moved when you see that the music brings some extra to the pictures you see. Some of those spaghetti’s would never be that great without their soundtrack. And the singles are looking great too, but when you put them together on a jukebox then is my day always great for a start. There only one single I am missing for the jukebox, which I am looking for already for years: “Navajo Joe” !!
So, when you come across that one; think about me and buy it. I will pay you back.

Now I remember you! You posted on here asking about that single awhile ago. I’ll definitely keep you in mind if I find the Navajo Joe single, as I’d definitely love to help out a fellow collector!
Also I gotta ask about some of these… is La Morte Non Contra I Dollari worth the several hundred dollars it’s being advertised as around the internet? I can’t find a copy for anything lower than 150 to 200 usd.
Same with E Per Tetto Cielo Di Stelle? Do any of the extra tracks make it worth buying rather than the LP version?
Hi Nick,
First of all, I never buy a cd for more than 50€ ( and this is the exception) !! Almost all the spaghetti soundtracks are between 5€ and 30€. But when I buy at one place, I do ask for a reduction and I will always get some good reduction !! Specialy from italian sellers.
Now for your questions :
La Morte Non CONTA I Dollari , I bought this in a lot of 33 cds for 810€ (all spaghetti soundtracks). The cd is worth to buy it. There are 3 or 4 different main themes. The title main theme is in different ways recorded, whistle, guitar, choir, solo vocals. All different and quiet enjoyable. Nora Orlani sings two songs and Raul sings the end credits. The bonus tracks gives more variation on some main themes. And there are 2 tracks in the style of “la bamba” !
…E Per Tetto Cielo Di Stelle: is one of my recents cd’s. It took quiet some research to find it for a reasonable price (45€). As the original LP only has 6 songs (the b side are from other movies), I think that the cd brings you more music anyway. The cd is the entire score from the movie. No extra tracks !! So when so see the movie , you know what to expect for the soundtrack. So for me, the cd is better than the LP.
Thanks for the insight! I’ve been debating on if I’d ever purchase these if an opportunity came up ( for a good price of course ). It’s super helpful to have others who know what these soundtracks hold, as I’ve had several purchases that have beem severly underwhelming ( Vendo Cara La Mia Pelle was a big dissapointment, especially sound quality wise. ).
I have to admit I jump on every spaghetti western soundtrack released (on cd). Most of them will never be released on a physical media again and waiting for a better release will lead you nowhere 99% of the time.
I’m pretty picky about it to be honest, though I’ve let some great opportunities go that way, I’ve saved some money avoiding some of the hokey releases (Some of the stuff with Carlo Rustichelli and Angelo Francesco Lavagnino). I can’t stand when I get a release with maybe one or two good songs and the rest are abstract ambient type stuff, or when the audio quality is completely awful.
my god… I didn’t know they released a soundtrack album for almost every spaghetti western in existence.
anyway as much as I enjoy the music when I watch these movies… when I only listen to music I prefer something a bit more “Alive” with vocals and guitars and drums.
like some Led Zeppelin vinyls for exemple… I just can’t get bored of this.
Actually the score for the lost spaghetti western Chrysantemums for a Bunch of Swine has also been released so every spaghetti western in exsistence and then some The number of new releases has gone way down though. Some years ago we were talking perhaps 15-20 new releases per year and now we’re down to a couple.
