Coming out of retirement (like Django in that very, very strange “official” sequel of his…) to add my support, once again, to this awesome Sartana movie. My favorite of the series. I was able to listen to Nicolai’s score by itself not long ago and it’s great stuff and adds a lot to the film.
i change my mind a bit for this i saw yesterday
it’s okay 3 out of 5
the only thing i don’t like it’s the poor ending

Finally came to your senses I see ;);)
yes finaly afte a long time…
Even though I am a SW fan (why would I be here otherwise) this is the first Sartana movie I’ve seen, and I must say it was quite fun. It’s one of those “comic book” spaghettis, which aren’t even close to masterpieces and might not even be good movies, but they’re fun and reminded me why I liked cowboys so much when I was a kid.
This movie had some interesting camera work and great music. It dragged a bit in the last half, I think it would’ve been much better if it was 10/15 minutes shorter, but that’s something that happens very often with SWs.

Just a question, anybody knows where can I get a good resolution version of this poster?

Apparently there’s some wrong with the link, you can pick the review up on the MAIN PAGE

Unfortunately he was more busy with his camera angles than with Daniela Giordana’s body curves. She looks as beautiful as ever, but her scenes are all deceptively chaste. And when she finally starts taking off her clothes, Sartana blacks out the wax-candle with one of his playing cards. Damn conjuror
oh, those sloppy cinematographers - same thing with Licinia Lentini in Silver Saddle
LOL Tomas.
actually, i think this is a serious problem, when you have some hot chick on the screen
many films were ruined this way
This one should work:

Quote from The last Western you watched? thread
my worst of the 4 with garko sartana, and the ending kill the movie totally…
Currently these are my preferences:
ending
- Se incontri Sartana prega per la tua morte/If You Meet Sartana Pray for Your Death
- Una nuvola di polvere… un grido di morte… arriva Sartana/Light the Fuse… Sartana Is Coming
- Buon funerale, amigos!.. paga Sartana/Have a Good Funeral, My Friend… Sartana Will Pay
- Sono Sartana, il vostro becchino/I Am Sartana Your Angel of Death
pre-credits sequence (all three of them are good)
- Se incontri Sartana prega per la tua morte/If You Meet Sartana Pray for Your Death
- Una nuvola di polvere… un grido di morte… arriva Sartana/Light the Fuse… Sartana Is Coming
- Buon funerale, amigos!.. paga Sartana/Have a Good Funeral, My Friend… Sartana Will Pay

Interesting idea. I would have to rewatch pre-credit sequences and credit sequences in order to be able to make a good judgement
I’ll do that between Xmas and New Year (it’s a nice, meaningless chore, fitting the last week of the year pretty well)
I think I prefer the movies in the order they were made, but as said, I don’t see much difference - quality wise - between 2,3 & 4.
To me Garko is right, it’s difficult to find the right balance and I think 3 and 4 have too many crackpot ideas

i’d like to see a new review from you for LIGHT THE FUSE SARTANA IS COMING and IF YOU MEET SARTANA PRAY FOR YOUR DEATH 8)
Aren’t the old ones good enough??
i always like to read new reviews for the sartana series…!
of course the old ones are good
He’ll get his own page, like No Name and Django, but I must watch a few ‘unofficial’ Sartanas first

Somebody already created the page, I ‘only’ have to write the text:

very good reviews!!! i can’t wait for sartana!!!
it’s good to see also sabata in the line…
My least favorite of the official Sartanas, and I like it even less than the Hilton one, at least that had Sabbath.
To me the scenario of Sartana just being a jerk and taking forever to kill the banker he was going to kill anyway leading to so many more deaths was incredibly frustrating. Seems like Sartana the invincible superhero was doing it to relieve boredom, which just left me bored.
