Death Rides a Horse, 2 Ringo movies, Bandidos, Hellbenders, Viva Django, No Room To Die - not only a great actor but also one of the best directors in a genre :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Yodlaf Peterson.
I had the idea that it was a bootleg version, but was not sure.
To bad the japanese version is so expensive, but I guess I have to pay the price then.

I’ll be very thankfull when we get a decent looking Region1 print of “Death Rides a Horse”.

There seems to be another Bullet for Sandoval DVD available from Trinity Entertainment listed on Amazon.com (Amazon.com). Is this just the same as the VCI disc?

It appears to be a cheap 4:3 pan and scan version running the same length as the 16:9 VCI disc. But I don’t have either version so not 100% sure.

Which version of Brain Damage is better: The Special Edition or the Limited Special Edition and whats different about them?

This ain’t a spaghetti, is it… Think you got the wrong thread, amigo

I thought this was for everything, i’m if i was wrong.

Which version of Scalps is better, German X-rated or Spanish Suevia release?

The only thing I can say is that the X-Rated version is damn nice looking. The best-looking spaghetti western release from that company which it really also should be considering the movie was made as late as 1986. Should be uncut too.

Re. Stranger’s Gundown, does the German version offer the option of seeing the film in Italian with English subtitles?

What are the best versions of:

~the Hallelujah box set
~They Call Him Cemetery
~$10,000 Blood Money
~the Sartana films

nope:

VCI it is then.

I want to buy the best version of “Faccia to Faccia” on DVD. Any propositions? French remastered version looks fantastic (photos herehttp://cgi.ebay.pl/LE-DERNIER-FACE-A-FACE-Western-Spaghetti-DVD-NEUF_W0QQitemZ280235530349QQihZ018QQcategoryZ2288QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem"), but hasn’t got english sound and subtitles…

Your best bet would be the Sergio Sollima Italo Western Box Set then… Got The Big Gundown, Face to Face and Run, Man Run all with at least Italian dub and English subs… The only problem is that it will probably cost you a fortune unless you find a copy cheap somewhere. Gone OOP a couple of months back. It’s this one: http://www.amazon.de/Sergio-Sollima-Italo-Western-Box-DVDs/dp/B000786OKK/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216881250&sr=1-11

I am looking for a DVD of Massacre Time, and found this one from DVD Substance, offered by several on-line shops:

http://imageshack.us

It has the same cover as the Digital World Video DVD, which is said to be very poor (is it by any chance the same DVD ?)
The French DVD from Studio Canal, released recently, is poor too, so I’ve been told on a french forum

I have that Substance edition Scherps and I don’t think it’s bad quality at all. Not spectacular but perfectly acceptable. Maybe someone else knows of a better version but I was happy enough with it.

The best version print wise I have seen so far is the SPO disc, but the one Phil mentions is alright and of course can be purchased for a respectable price.
