Yep, exactly how I feel about that movement. That’s not a slight on Bandidos though which is a fine film, but I really feel like El Puro should be up amongst the most revered movies in the genre rather than slipping out of the alternative 20. I’m sure a blu-ray restoration and wide release by Arrow or similar would put it where it belongs. I keep nagging them on Twitter, they keep replying with a cheery “Thanks for the suggestion!”…

There’s a couple of versions Dean were it’s edited different, one Is incoherent, it’s either that or you have to watch the film in a specific order, some like it some don’t

I have the Cult Action DVD’s of Black Jack & El Puro, which I love. I found Gatling Gun to be a bit of a drag, maybe I should re-watch it.
