Yep at $14.95 + $5 postage to Europe. It’s amazing they have kept that $5 postage fee. It’s been at that point like forever.
The latest release just got kicked by COVID-19:
“DUE TO COVID-19 the plant was forced to close before shipment was send out.
Unfortunately we don’t have a a shipping date at this time.”
So we are probably going to have to wait a month or two more before something is actually sent out.
Funny enough, I was going to make a joke about this release being another victim of Coronavirus when it was delayed.
I just hope it won’t get cancelled, been looking forward a lot for this release…
It sounds like it has already been fabricated but is just being held up so don’t think it will be cancelled, only delayed.
No mail is coming through from the States at this time anyways. At least not for me. Have a couple of packages that has been stranded for approx. 3 weeks somewhere over there.
Wild East e-mail is @aol.com… wow america online still exist in 2020 ?
that’s vintage
I remember recieving aol cds in the mail all the time back in 93-94-95.
Packages from USA shouldn’t be a problem according to Postnords homepage
Everything is delayed it seems. The problem lies in the States not when they reach the border is my guess. So packages from the States is not a problem, but how quickly they are shipped within the States is it seems. I have two packages that I can trace to last being seen April 1st and April 4th somewhere in the States being ready to be sent abroad. Seem to be reading the same on the web. It’s a common problem. Hopefully things will get a boost at some point.
according to the post above, the problem isn’t with shipping
the factory that produced the discs closed before they sent them out. So the product is sitting in the factory warehouse
For me, that’s always the case when ordering from states. As soon as the package leaves US it can no longer be traced, so it looks like it’s stuck but the thing is that Postnord changes the tracking number as soon as they get it without informing you, and at this point thr package is piled up at customs for weeks…
Probably also gotta keep in mind that the postal system is possibly struggling with workforce issues - surely some workers have been not coming in, and also the volume of mail has likely increased considerably due to everyone staying home and ordering more stuff online instead of going to stores
Postal system is probably over worked and understaffed, leading to problems
Yep. That’s the case for some deliveries depending on how they were shipped. Those two I am waiting for should be traceable all they way, and if they were picked up in customs they should reflect that but sadly they haven’t been registered in Denmark so my guess is they are piling up somewhere in the States. I have no problem waiting as long as I know they will get here at some point but have a bad feeling that the current state of affairs will mean that more packages will get lost.
Yep that’s very likely the case. I have put whatever I wanted to buy from the States on hold for now until everything is up and running again. Deliveries within Europe don’t seem to be affected as badly. Have had a couple of packages from amazon UK and from Germany arrive in no time.
Within the UK, post is really slow also - I had some SWs arrive yesterday, bought from ebay from a very reliable dealer - the parcel took 2 weeks rather than 2 to 3 days to reach me … and that’s through one postal system, no borders.
I don’t mind the wait so much as the uncertainty of ‘has the order been lost!?’ But so far all my vids turned up later rather than sooner.
Yeah I mail stuff out almost daily because I sell a lot of stuff on ebay and I’ve never had a problem but right now I’ve got a package held up for a couple weeks… has never happened to me before
Maybe you can PM a link to your ebay page, when you have some sales on ?
If I put up anything of interest I’ll let ya know… right now its just a bunch of random stuff that I find at thrift stores. I have sold a lot of VHS tapes lately but none of them have been anything worth having
Just got an email from Wildeast that my Thou Shall Not Kill/The Beast DVD shipped.
Sounds good. I’ve never received a shipping email from them ever as far as I recall. The movies just suddenly popped up
Either way I would rather that they didn’t ship mine just yet. The US postal servlce is hit and miss these days and all misses for me it seems. Have several packages now stuck in limbo.
