Where do you buy your DVDs/Blu-rays?

Just wondering where everyone goes to shop for their films, and perhaps find cheaper places for myself. :stuck_out_tongue:

I use Amazon, Play.com and my local HMV.

I used to buy most (spaghetti) dvd’s from xploited cinema but sadly they’re going out of business. Italian Kult video is pretty good place too.

Spaghetti wise I use Amazon De for Koch releases and order direct from Wild East for their releases. E Bay and Amazon is used for stuff aswell.

Dvdempire.com, deepdiscount.com, dvdpacific.com (this one seems to have come under new ownership though).

I use a DVD/CD shop called Fopp in Bristol which sells hundreds of foreign movies and Argos Entertainment, which is an offshoot of Argos and sells lots of DVD/CD’s.

Amazon, e bay & HMV

Ebay, Amazon, JB Hi-Fi

Used to buy from Dvdpacific, Kultvideo and Xploitedcinema (still buy some stuff on their ebay store)

All over the place!

Mostly a Swedish shop. Plus I don’t buy a lot of DVD’s nowadays, I buy either VHS, trade DVDr’s or download rare stuff from CG.

Nah, no one loses anything on me downloading TV and VHS rips.

What’s CG Silence?

But getting in to the place can be kinda difficult, you will have to be online now and then and worst of all you can’t download as much as you want at the same time! but click register a coupla times sometimes until someone gets kicked out.

Okay thanks. I may have a look at it if you can watch really hard to find or obscure movies.

Is everything on cinemageddon a torrent, and if so, what is a torrent?

I forgot to mention ebay! But I normally only use ebay for more mainstreams stuff. I recently got an OOP Rambo Trilogy for just 20 bucks including shipping. Its harder to find good deals on cult stuff.

Most of the times I use the Supermarket, it’s kinda like e-bay nice prices (promotions discount cards), and from time to time a few surprise.
For more dificult stuff FNAC and Amazon

A sort of file which you need to get a program to see:

I buy a lot in the online shop of OFDB.
The lowest prices in Germany. For example, films of the rainbow collection of Koch Media for € 8.99.
