Well, when i’ve got through a few more films on my “to watch” pile i may give it a tentative go… One thing i am sure of…Return of Ringo will be sitting there at the top

Don’t make yourself illusions, there will always be one more film to watch/rewatch, now and in a year.
I swear, you can always change it if it suits yourself (and if it isn’t every week, otherwise you are in big, big trouble).
Dare to make a fool out of yourselves (we are in desperate need for something to laugh after SD’s [sob] sudden departure).
And the best thing is, it costs you … Nothing, yes, yes, true, absolutely nothing (ok, ok, maybe your reputation or your salvation or even worser your forum account, but who gives a damn, and it’s not the end of the world to name 20 Fidani’s … hmmm … well, it is, … but so we go down laughing, and there are worser ways to do so, at least SD’s list is still in and the world hadn’t trembled, try to beat it).
Truth is, only a few reckless ones haven’t survived making a top 20 till now, nobody misses them (unless your name is Nobody).
God, this should be an offer you can’t refuse.

I think I’m going to update my list soon since I’ve seen about 50 SW’s since the last time I made my list. I’ll have to take some out and put some in.
Looking back at my old list I’m surprised how much my views have changed since then, and how at the same time its stayed the same.

Oh yes, I love nearly everything Hammill (solo and VdGG) has made up to 85, and that’s a lot.
And his concerts are as unpredictable (and as loud) as ever.
These were my favorite band as a youth - Refugees and anything off Still Life will still bring a lump to my throat. PH solo stuff - up to about pH7 before I lost touch a bit. Got the latest VDGG cd - pretty good.

I liked their comeback album very much (except for the last song). Great stuff, not only the songs but also the improvisations on the 2nd CD.
But Trisector, I don’t know, it sounds so tame, still haven’t found an acccess to the new saxless sound. Live it was very powerful, a bit theatrical maybe, due to some of the choiced songs.
Here’s one more fan. But i prefer VDGG albums to Hammil’s solo stuff and i’m not familiar with their new albums.
I continue to be amazed at how off subject we can get. I’m quite surprised also to find at least 4 of us VDGG fans amongst such a small brethren as our own. (I’m including Silver as both a fan and a ‘brethren’ - where are you btw?).

Well just goes to show how crap a ‘fan’ I am - I meant the comeback album, I didn’t know Trisector had been released yet.
And to get back on subject - well i can’t. I don’t have any more “Greats” that I don’t like.
