I saw it too, years ago, mainly because Vincent Cassel is in it, one of my favourite actors
It’s a good film, but I found the end a bit disappointing (can’t say more about this, of course)
I’d certainly give it a try

There are some pretty good action in it with Mark Dacascos.
Monica Bellucci is in it.
Besides that its nothing special.

We rented Inglourious Basterds, therefore I’ll be watching that tonight.
A very painful experience
I watched it because it was a western, and because of Cassel
He’s okay, the first twenty or thirty minutes of the movie are okay, but then it goes all overboard, over the top, over the hills and far away
A pity, some of the Blueberry books are quite allright
I’ll probably watch THE MAGNIFICENT TRIO tonight.
Hey, amigo! Good to see you here, again!
Is THE MAGNIFICENT TRIO the Chang Cheh film? If so…that is a good one!

Cheers Chris
Yep, it’s the Chang Cheh film, i’ve been on a Shaw brothers mission the last couple of years, i’m trying to get all the IVL releases.
I will be watching “Rogue” an american/australian film about a man-eating giant crocodile.
It sounds pretty hilarious, but its been praised so I will give it a go.
A few tonight:
Cruising…Al Pacino after a killer.
Dark Angel…Dolph Lundgren after a spaceman alien type of guy.
Phantasm… The heroes in this one are after the Tall Man 8) .
I enjoy this film, Dark Angel is the best title for it aswell, i hate the U.S. title “I come in peace”.
Watched Inglorious Bastards and The Magician/Ansiktet by Ingmar Bergman tonight.
Thanks never knew about the U.S title.
DARKTOWN STRUTTERS - New World Pictures (1975)
A Colonel Sanders look-a-like, who has made his fortune selling ribs and watermelon, is kidnapping local black leaders in an attempt to clone them and control their vote. It's up to Syreena and her triker gang to stop the evil Colonel's fiendish plan.
Wowsers, i hardly know where to start with this one. It was directed by William Whitney, who directed a lot of Republic serials and B-westerns. It’s definitely the wackiest blaxploitation flick i’ve ever seen, full of visual sight gags and sped up action scenes. There’s also a scene or two which seem like they might be a tad offensive to some, but it all comes together to make an entertaining movie.
Fun Factor - 6/10
Just watching High Noon and will continue with some more classics (probably some SW too).
Despite some reservations, (and because there’s nothing on the TV and i’m slightly curious) just ordered Star Trek on Pay per view…
I’m about to watch HATE THY NEIGHBOUR.
Just finished Star Trek. It was …okay i guess. Nothing really grabbed me. The secondary characters (ie Scotty, Checkov McCoy and Uhura) didn’t seem to get that much to do. Never been a massive fan of the franchise ( did watch the original series as a kid and the Next Generation stuff, plus all the films except that Nemesis one) but just expected something a little better after all the hype.
Just finished watching Phantasm 2, 3 and 4.
Good fun with interesting ideas. Really liked the 4th one aswell which I had not seen before and had a feeling would not like for some reason unknown to me.
