What Film Are You Watching Tonight?
3.30am?!? What were they thinking?
How on earth does a chap who needs his beauty sleep as much as I do get to watch a film at that time of night? I have a growing dislike for TV programme planners. These people are almost as bad as bankers. Well maybe that’s a bit harsh.
I recorded the damn thing
It was a series of (I think) 6 short Spanish horror movies, they were all shown after midnight (in this case the level of violence and gore might have been the major reason).

This is sensible. Unfortunately my recorder is on the blink so anything on TV is either watched or ignored by me these days. Usually the latter.

Babylon AD
he’s blown up in the first Death Star.
But I think it’s not shown, so story-wise you could had say he survived.

Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things.

A group of young people start to have a false ceremony in a graveyard.

Most of the time did not understand what was going on. The last 20 minutes were O.K with some not bad zombie action, but not worth the wait for me.

Magic. tonight

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans…when I first heard of this film my first thought was “oh no, why do they have to fuck with the Harvey Keitel classic?!” but then I heard nothing but good things…so i’ll give it a go

That reminds me of… of…

I knew that was coming :stuck_out_tongue:

BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974)
MILLIONS (2004)
HELL’S HEROES (1930) - early version of ‘The Three Godfathers’ story

Monkey Shines

I believe I’ll watch The Magnificent Seven tonight.

Ha ha! Great minds and all that…
I just pulled THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN down a few minutes ago with the intention of watching it later this evening.

70’s cop film tonight Electra Glide in Blue.

Robert Blake plays a cop in perhaps one of his best roles.

Ah, with the great Eli Wallach! (What, he isn’t the star?)

Thor, Hammer Of The Gods tonight. no, it’s not another comic book superhero adaption it’s Vikings vs Werewolves. :o

Me, Raymond Isenberg, and Robert Blake in 2005 (I think).

I have plans to watch OPERATION POKER and THE SPY WHO LOVED FLOWERS at some point, this evening. I have seen the former before, but it was many, many years ago. This will be the first time I have seen the latter film.
Might squeeze in a revisit to EL PURO, today, as well.

My brother recommended that I see a french film called Brotherhood of the Wolf. Anybody seen this one is it any good?

I saw it years ago and can’t remember a whole lot about it…other than some gratuitous nudity??

I think I liked it. Hope that helps!
