best song FOR ME is their wonderful version in 1966 of
SPANISH HARLEM
as good as the original version in 1962 by JIMMY JUSTICE.
âoriginalâ or the best version I should say as I detest the Aretha Franklin awful âversionâ

MARIA DOLORES 1976
Must have been listening to loud music too often/enough, since Iâve never heard of the guy, even though Iâm half-Dutch.
I have some vague memories of a song called Juanita and do know, of course, Lana, but I donât think itâs his verson thatâs haunting me : Ohohooo Lana ⊠padompadompadom ⊠Laahahanaaa âŠ
I know Jack Jersey, though. The man had a few hits, one as Jack de Nijs (Waar blijft Maria), one as Jack Jersey (Rub it in) when I was about fourteen or fifteen years old. They werenât bad. My friend bought the first one because he was in love with a girl called Maria. I fancied her sister, but - believe it or not - donât remember her name !

Ti amo from umberto tozzi! I love the song even if it might be cheesy, I also like the cover from Howard Carpendale.
I guess Sartana Django will be happy with this choice, since you seem to be into âSchlagerâ stuff?
I normally only listen to it when the carnival season is around! but occasionally it is nice to hear it

SCHLAGER RULES THE WORLD and makes a billion hearts melt with love and joy
I like Howard Carpendale and was just listening to his âwemâ and âwill du freiâ big hits.
âTi amoâ is okish but not one of my favourites from Carpendale.
REX GILDO ULLI MARTIN BATA ILLIC IVICA SERFEZI That is SCHLAGER forever
Correction : Never use the word âcheesyâ the CORRECT word is MELODIOUS/CATCHY.
