Vote for Our Official Top 20

I have heard, that there are some people in the forum, who likes lists a lot and it would be interesting to get some more …
so here is mine, but there’s nothing special …

1 gbu
2 the great silence (il silencio)
3 face to face (facia a facia)
4 ouatiw
5 tepepa
6 cemetry without crosses (une corde, un colt)
7 the big gundown (la reisa dei conta)
8 a professional gun (il mercenario)
9 a fistful of dynamite (giù la testa)
10 fistful of dollars (per un pugno di dollari)

12 blindman
13 django
14 el puro
15 john the bastard (john il bastardo)
16 for a few dollars more (per qualcho dollaro in più)
17 day of anger (giorni dell´ira)
18 death rides a horse (da uomo a uomo)
19 return of ringo (il ritorno di ringo)
20 Quien Sabe

and there are so many others, which are on the go to get in this list …
for example “a minute to pray, a second to die” (un minuto per pregare, un istante per morire): if I ever get a chance, to see an uncut version, I’m sure this movie will get in the top ten.

the difficulty to create such a list is, that there are sometimes so different things, why I like these films. how should I compare “quien sabe” and “forgotten pistolero”. both movies impressed me and I can watch them again and again … quien sabe has the very good story, forgotten pistolero this absolute great atmosphere etc. …

Changed the list, I’ve been wanting to do it for a while,

You changed quite a lot Korano.

First list without a Leone, as far as I know …

No, not true, didn’t notice the duck behind the bench
You changed quite a lot Korano.
Well, as I see more and more spaghettis, I find that some deserve to be on my top 20 ore than others do. Romaine recently sent me quite a bit of the top films of the genre. Tepepa, CWC, Massacre Time, Face to Face etc. All very good films that deserve the top spot more so than say Get Mean, which I still really like.

I’m going to have to start my 20 -30 list. Lets see…That would go

 1. Taste of vengeance
 2. Shoot, Gringo, Shoot
 3. A Pistol for Ringo
 4. GBU
 5. Apocalypse Joe
 6. Those Dirty Dogs
 7. Django, Kill
 8. Sabata
 9. Great Silence
 10. The Spciealist

All x-mas like quiet on the Top 20 voting front lately.

Nevertheless, 2008 is history (except maybe for Venice where they sometimes have the 34. Dez and the new year still hasn’t arrived), and even if there was only 1 new list and a few altered ones, here is how it is on new year’s day 2009, a year of faith.

great job

Yes, very good job. Hope I wasn’t a burden with my constant changing of my top 20. I like making lists of stuff like this and I may change a lot to my future top 20’s.

Keep up the good work Stanton.

I can see that this is soon going to become a Stanton ass kissing thread. MUCH DESERVEDLY SO!
Should this list be posted to relace our current Top 20?

Off topic:
Just 8 more ENNIOO and you’ll be are first 3000! I think a thread for that is in order.

Ha ha you can kiss Santa Claudia’s ass instead. Mine is also not bad, but I honestly would prefer hers.

Yes, the new list always replaces the then old one on the main page, that’s the idea.

No problem, you (and everybody else) can change it anytime you like, but I still prefer it, if it isn’t any day.

Unfortunately Santa Claudia is no longer your avatar…

But nevertheless, a hell of a job you did. I’m ok with the results, maybe exept for Keoma.

Agreed, it should be higher in the top 20 :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks alot for the work Stanton

If only you all saw thelight and put Shoot the Living, Pray for the Dead at the top. ;D

And “For 100 000 Dollars per Killing” aka. “Vengeance is mine” should be much much higher. I still think it’s much better than “10,000 Dollars Blood Money”. Also can’t help being happy about “Tepepa” being much higher on the list

I hope Koch Media will release Tepepa
