Vote for our official bottom-20

No, it surely is not, but it has some stupid slapstick which drags down the film a bit.

But neither is Return of Sabata a bad film.

I’m going to have to give Return of Sabata another watch… I remember turning it off I was so disappointed.

@ Sartana68’. I’m always intrigued by your likes and dislikes and I think I get where you’re coming from. However…You really liked Bad Mans River? Thats gotta be one of the biggest shockers yet! (Along with you not liking Evil Dead 2) :o
Making a bottom 20 doesn’t make as much sense as a top 20. Normally people try to watch the well know films and try to avoid the turkeys. I can be sure about my top 20 cause I tried to watch so far every SWs which could be good, but a bottom 20 would be restricted to the few bad SWs I watched by accident.
I can only try to name some of the worst SWs I have seen so far.

Another problem with the films named is that there were also many films named which people were disappointed by, but a film which is disappointing compared to its reputation is not necessarily one the genres true turkeys.
Fully shareable considerations.
To compile a truly reliable Bottom 20 list we should intentionally ā€œstir in the mudā€ watching really bad movies from first to last minute, which not everyone is willing to do.
In any case I can confirm that the first title in alan’s list (reply #100, I vendicatori dell’Ave Maria/Twilight Avengers) is deserving of the greatest attention.

Is Twilight Avengers the one where some music is used from Duel In The Eclipse, or do I have that wrong ?

Having just watched the second of the Tressete films I feel moved to update my previous list as promised.

I’m sticking to 10 as it’s hard enough to be reminded of these turkeys without having to ponder on 10 more.

This time they are in regular order. Number 1 is the worst (an arbitrary decision if I’m honest. Any of the top 5 could have had that dishonour).

1.Te Deum
2. The Crazy Bunch
3. Whisky and Ghosts
4. The Man Called Invincible
5. Trinity and Sartana
6. Where the Bullets Fly
7. Adios Companeros
8. The White, the Yellow and the Black
9. Law of Violence
10. White Comanche

My top ten:

 1. Fat Boys Of Trinity.
 2. Whiskey and Ghosts.
 3. Finders Killers.
 4. The Arizona Kid.
 5. Bastards Go and Kill.
 6. Carambola’s Philosophy.
 7. Hallelujah To Vera Cruz.
 8. The Implacable Three.
 9. Johnny West.
 10. Where The Bullets Fly.

This one surprises me if it is Bastard, Go and Kill with Lincoln Tate and George Eastman.

Yes, this one’s really awful.
Has anyone seen For a Book of Dollars? A film definitely for this topic.

Not had the courage to watch that one yet :stuck_out_tongue: .

Ok, the worst I have seen:

Django and Sartana are coming … It’s the End (Fidani) (It is indeed the end)
7 Devils on Horseback (Crea)
A Fistful of Death (Fidani)

These are incredibly badly made and incredibly boring (apart from a few unintentional lauhgs). These are truly 0/10 films. Compared to them an awful film like God’s gun looks like a masterpiece of filmmaking.

i can’t believe they made so much crap westerns

Hmm, Canevari’s early western Per un dollaro a Tucson si muore is of similar quality. Maybe a 1/10, but maybe then already overrated.

Glad to see Crazy Bunch is at the top (or bottom, depending on how its interpreted) of the list. Right where it belongs…

I liked it in the end… one of Nello Pazzafini’s best roles, imo.

Crazy Bunch isn’t that bad actually. I mean it’s kind of film that everyone involved probably knew what crazy shit they were doing.
For me the worst films of the genre are the ones which are just so boring and unoriginals that they’re hard to watch through.
