Glancing through this thread it seems it’s reverted to top 20 rather than bottom!?

Looking at some of the earlier posts, I see quite a few titles which I consider good or above average B movies, but I appreciate that many of these will have been viewed on sub standard quality multi packs, from companies such as Mill Creek. So, if you’re watching a pan scan 3rd generation VHS sourced print, your patience and tolerance is certainly going to be tested. Therefore some of these titles have been more harshly treated than they should.

Of course there are a lot of really poor flicks out there, but for me the enjoyment factor has many variables, such as print quality original ratio issues, as already mentioned. But there’s also the disappointment of seeing quality actors and technicians involved in lack lustre productions … so, I’m going to keep that in mind while compiling my eventual Bottom 20.

For the moment, and without hesitation, these few come to mind.

In no particular order.

‘GOD’S GUN’
‘CIPOLLO COLT’
‘MAN OF THE EAST’
‘DJANGO’ (Sorry folks, I hate it)
‘A GENIUS, TWO PARTNERS AND A DUPE’
‘32 CALIBER KILLER’
‘WHAT AM I DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE REVOLUTION’
‘WHITE COMMANCHE’
‘CLINT THE STRANGER’
‘BLACK KILLER’
‘HIS NAME WAS KING’
‘DEAF SMITH & JOHNNY EARS’
‘ANYTHING FOR A FRIEND’
‘BOOT HILL’
‘VENGEANCE TRAIL’
‘ALIVE OR PREFERABLY DEAD’
‘GARTER COLT’
‘THE RETURN OF SHANGHAI JOE’

That’s probably enough to be going on with … I’ve only listed those that I’ve watched all the way through, otherwise there’s tons of others. :relaxed:

Apology accepted! May I ask why?

Certainly … I find it the most overrated and hyped of the genre. The story is too similar to Fistful of Dollars, the English dub is atrocious - the locations bland and the photography uninspired.
Franco Nero to me is just playing at being a cowboy, not giving an acting performance. The shootouts predictable … and overall it just looks thrown together. There’s no real emotion or empathy with the characters.
I do like the music though! :relaxed:

I’m sure Stanton will say something about that.:expressionless:

Not only him. Grrr.

And someone would complain what is my problem with For few dollars more. :joy:

It definitely gets my vote for the absolute worst English dub I’ve ever heard.

Jeez, to complain about ridiculous dub in SWs. Although i’ve never seen it in Eng dub, only Italian.

Have no idea now, if I posted Bottom 20, probably yes but i’ve seen some crapspaghs recently, would be a mistake to not refresh the list.

No particular order, it’s all crap.

Law Of Violence - Crea
On The Third Day Crow Arrived - Crea
Fat Brothers Of Trinity - It probably didn’t have a director
Little Rita Of The West - Baldi’s lowest point in career
One Damned Day At Dawn, Django Meets Sartana - Fidani
Don’t Wait Django, Shoot - Mulargia
Cjamango - Mulargia, even worse than Dont Wait Django
The Great Adventure - Baldanello’s unbearable take on Jack L.
White Fang And The Golddigers - Brescia, another unbearable take on Jack L.
White Comanche - Mendez
Clint The Stranger - Balcazar
Payment In Blood - Castellari’s effort with only one good scene
Dead For A Dollar - Civirani, theres although one good scene with gravedigging
Bury Them Deep - Moffa, several scenes taken from Taste Of Killing. Avoid!
Find A Place To Die - Carnimeo
His Name Was King - Romitelli, good theme though
A Man Called Amen - Catalbiano
The Road To Fort Alamo
Dynamite Jim - Balcazar, but contains two good scenes
They Call Me Lucky - Henkel, a sequel to quite good Three Bullets For A Long Gun
And of course For A Few Dollars More (just kidding)

Sorry.

I would also add White Fang and the Hunter to the bottom of the pile.
