Looks like there will be alot of threads for different DVD releases then…
Yes that was general idea 
If people are very opposed to it please say so but as I said in another of the threads it gives a more comprehensible view instead of a single thread which tends to get flooded.
In recent times duplicate threads have been started for a few things, with A Hole in the Forehead for example having at least three threads at one time!
Are people not taking a proper search for an existing thread sometimes?, will more threads make this situation worse or better?
Ah but this is a dvd-release thread and not necessarily a discussion of the movie-thread which should still go in the appropiate thread in the Spaghetti Western Movie sub forum. This thread is meant only for release-informational purposes. Posting of covers / actual release date, perhaps cheap places to find the disc etc. That way the actual movie discussion thread won’t be cluttered with this kind of informtaion.
I have a hard time keeping track of what is coming out and the current dvd news thread can be hard to get a clear picture of.
Two out of three A Hole in the Forehead threads are relating to the new DVD release:

Ah but only one is placed in the dvd-forum the other one is meant as a movie discussion thread. That’s another problem, people making several discussion thread for the same movie. Can be hard to avoid what with the several different titles given to spaghetti westerns. The ‘official’ title may not be know to the poster, or he/she simply didn’t search to see if a thread already existed. That should be avoided of course but it will from time to time, this aint a perfect world

Yes, if you think seperate threads for soundtrack releases are necessary I would surely support the idea.
This (separate threads) works on other forums where it gives a very comprehensible view so don’t see why it shouldn’t work here ?

Maybe so…but both mention the new dvd release, as of course the two topics are related…its the same film.
Time will tell I guess on how things work…

I hate Koch Media, they cost me a lot of Money ;D
oh come on, 15 bucks for a disc with 10 times the quality of a wild east release, which usually cost quite a bit more… dont’ complain, bow your head an worship the Koch

this one was actually mentioned over a year ago and is still listed on amazon, but it was postponed and postponed, glad to see this one getting the go ahead finally

Agreed. I actually don’t really like these new-style Koch Media covers at all. The cover art for the ones they sent out in normal dvd cases (Django - ich will ihn tot, … und Santana tötet sie alle etc.) are the ones I like the most. Didn’t like their old digi-pack covers that much and the new ones are several tads worse.
I liked the old ones most too but I think these new digi-packs are a bit better than the preceding ones. just a matter of taste though, quite many prefer digi-packs I suppose.
