The Last Western You Watched?
How was it?
Not that good unfortunately. Script by Sergio Donati was quite interesting but I still got bored. Maybe partly because of the bad print. I’m so reluctant to watch scruffy vhs-transfers nowadays.

sometimes it’s the only way to see rare spags which is a shame :frowning:
sometimes it’s the only way to see rare spags which is a shame :(
Yea, god forbid they give us a glut of restored DVD’s of old movies, and take shelf space away from 4 versions of some crappy new movie. It’s funny, when VHS came out, they flooded the market with old movies. Why they don’t do that with disc’s, I don’t know? They’re cheaper to make than a VHS. I still own a player, for those rare occasions when I want to watch something I can’t find in another format.

“Young Guns”
“Young Guns II”

My internet is up and running again after about a month of problems with it

Watched a western i had never heard of before “Massacre at Marble City”, quite good but i think it’s quite early as it isn’t all that spaghetti like, Mario Adorf is quite good as a villain, reminds me of Ian McShane in “Deadwood”

Welcome back

Watched Navajo Joe for the first time… Aldo Sanbrell is one mean bastard in this one. Burt Reynolds worked surprisingly well, would have liked to see him in other spaghetti westerns, but alas… Fantastic soundtrack yet again from Morricone, very Good, Bad, Ugly-like in places.

You haven’t lived till you’ve seen Reynolds in Skullduggery.

Good to have you back!

Watched Waterhole #3 last night.
I was underwhelmed to say the least. A pity as I like Charles Coburn but this one is a dud with a very dubious thread running through it of rape being not that bad really and women kind of like it. I hate that shit. I know the sixties and seventies were a different time but I don’t remember anyone thinking rape was ok back then any more than they do now.
Really not worth watching. Avoid it.

Watched Jerksi’s “Taste of Vengeance” last night. A good Garko film, although the plot seems to jump around a bit. Sound quality on this project is a bit muffled and hissy but not bad enough to distract from the film. I’d recommend it for Garko fans.

-Ok film I guess, good action scenes and decent music but I couldn’t get a thing about the plot because I watched the German dvd.

“Sette donne per i MacGregor”

 • entertaining
 • slightly comedic
 • brutal in parts
 • plot similar to “Sette pistole per i MacGregor”

Bad Day at Black Rock. Fantastic!

John the bastard. Great movie. That’s fascinating in watching spags - you can come across a hidden gem when you don’t expect it

And there’s Claudio Camaso in it who is one of my favorite sw actors.

Quite an incredible movie. Apart from good actors it had got nice score and fascinating plot. Also gotta love the offbeat ending!

Watched the Trilogy on Encore last night…Avec Django, la mort est la is on right now.

Saw the latest Wild East double feature last night and this morning…

Hate Thy Neighbor is by far the better movie, a much better role for George Eastman and the whole storyline is much more interesting. Several thumbs up even though a part of the title track reminded me of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” or whatever it’s called.

The plot in Django The Last Killer is boring in my opinion, never got me interested. Not immediately recommended.
