I always admired the fact Welles made a film dedicated to Tony Anthony.

This one has everything that I can wish for in a Kung Fu flick. Absolutely loved it from start to finish, wow!

Meyer and Franco movies eh?
Did you enjoy THE MULE? I haven’t seen it yet.

13th Fraco film for me this year already. It took me some time and loads of films before I really started to appreciate his art. I love some Meyer stuff too but unfortunately Beyond the Valley of the Dolls is one of his worsts. It doesn’t feel like real Meyer film more like someone in Hollywood tried to imitate his films.

Yeah, it’s a good one. Not great but entertaining enough and Eastwood still has his charisma at almost 90 years of age.

I never really got into Franco films. The one I liked the most is COUNT DRACULA.
I will get THE MULE next time I go to Sainsburys. :+1:

Can’t beat a bit of classic Kung Fu action!

I really enjoyed MY NAME IS NOBODY the last time I watched it.

The Thief of Bagdad (Walsh, 1924) - 5/5

“What I want, I take”

Can’t even imagine how amazing this would’ve seemed in 1924. A technical marvel from beginning to end.

Douglas Fairbanks > Aladdin.

I have fond memories of it. A few years back I visited to location, and then a few days later (or was it weeks earlier, I forgot) watched the movie at the New Bev

A Shaw Brothers flick?

Watched films 2 and 3 of the Lenzi/Baker set, Cosi Dolce…Cosi Perversa (So Sweet, So Perverse) and Paranoia ( A Quiet Place to Kill). Gave SS, SP 41/2 stars as the majority of the film is great, but the writers missed the target with the ending. Paranoia gets a full 5 stars for being very inventive and a great ending.
