Beautifully filmed movie, but a rather unpleasant and confused story, with David Janssen in the lead role … possibly the most unlikely and thoroughly unlikable characters I’ve ever seen in any movie !!

Thank you, Aldo. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the film… As a kid, though, I did own the paper-back tie-in novel. In one pic, I recognised David Janssen from the back of his head, and costume.
