Once Upon a Time in Mexico?
Yes, one of my non-SW favorites with clear SW ressemblance. Your turn anyhow
Nooooooo, me again. It was just a guess.
Cannon for Cordoba ?
Yes! Memorable fortress, isn’t it?
The star of this film would later be nominated for an Oscar, in a movie he appeared in with a former SW star
Bad Company
I regconized Charles Tyler
Charles Tyner … close enough!
and of course it’s ‘Bad Company’ (1972) which starred Jeff Bridges, who was nominated for his part in the Clint movie ‘Thunderbolt and Lightfoot’
Over to you, El Topo
Much Oblige Aldo,
A good film by the way from an underrated director
Let’s try this one

Looks like a New Mexico license plate. Early 70s contemporary movie. Pocket Money with Lee Marvin?
Perfect dedution and answer right on spot Massimo
Up to you amigo
Thank you, El Topo. My first thoughts were Mr. Majestyk for some reason or maybe, but probably not, a Billy Jack film, until I zoomed in on the plate.
This one has at least one clue because most people seem to have an uncanny ability to look at a screenshot and tell if it’s 1960s or 70s, even if it’s close like 1969 vs 1971, for example, and has no style or car clues like a period-piece western. So, most people already know the decade of this one and and can even pinpoint roughly what year within that decade.
I’m guessing 1966 … and the film, ‘Balearic Caper’ ?
Aldo, you are very close year-wise and you have the genre correct.
Just a wild guess
‘Deadlier than the Male’ 1967 ?
Your initial year instinct was closer. The black girl(may not be obvious in the still above), especially in a mid-60s movie, relates to location as do modes of transportation like small aircraft and boats.
There’s significance to the story location as far as coming up with the movie’s title. There are thousands of these _ _ _ _ _ _ _ in the general , not specific, location of where this movie takes place. However, what I call the ‘general location’ does not factor into the title(Edit: I’m talking English language title, the other language title… the general location does factor in).
That punch looks too close for comfort.
