Some more pics…
Last pics, then I give the answer later on today.
Wyoming Mail (1950) … thanks to the last set of pics
Thank you, Toscano … I was confusing Stephen McNally with Lawrence Dobkin (Johnny Yuma)
Anyway … Some Eurospy fun set in the Far East
Ok, some clues … this one stars an actor famous for a great crime TV series in the 1950s and a hugely successful comedy film in the early 80s
It’s been 6 days… so ill go ahead… here’s a classic that’s not well known but beloved by it’s fans… has a lot of beautiful east LA shots of places that have lost their aesthetic with time. It’s criminal that this film never got an HD bluray release.
Blood In, Blood Out
Yep. Love this film. One of my favorite street crime films… there’s a recent 4k fan remaster too that i recently found out about, upscaled using AI from 1080p streaming service source - results are surprisingly good. It was quite the treat as the image quality of this film has always been shit up until now.
Your turn
‘King Solomon’s Mines’ (1950) perhaps ?
Distant Drums (1951) ?
Distant drums it is!
‘The Hireling’ (1973)?
That’s the one … well done, Toscano.
A surprisingly good movie, not for action fans though
You’re up next.
