The Guess a Movie Screenshot Thread Version 2.0

Yes indeed … with Barbara and Edwige doing what they do best!
Well done, Peon … over to you.

Woohoo, thank you, aldo!

Here’s one for absolute pros only. I’ll give you more pics per batch because it’s so difficult (I believe).

Is it from the 'Making of … ‘Padre, Padrone’ !

Haha, no, that would have been far too easy.

The film in question features a female SW regular.

It’s the debut feature film, shot in 1969 on Sardinia, of a director who went on to do mostly documentaries and extremely long art films.
This film is a loose adaptation of a story by Dostoyevsky.

Today the director is somewhat controversial. His latest film was rejected by the Berlinale film festival.

Would not have known this without the pictures of Nicoletta Machiavelli … and the giveaway clues

Scarabea - wieviel Erde braucht der Mensch?

That’s the one, well done! Back to you, aldo.

No-no … thank you - now I have another ‘Nicoletta’ film to seek out

Ok … try this one for size. This one also has Miss Machiavelli

More clues …

Could this be Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die?

Yes it is … well done, Peon - over to you

Gracias, aldo.

Let’s see how quickly this gets solved.

Is this an Argento flick?

No. It’s also not a giallo. But it’s Italian.

I’ll have a wild guess and say, ‘Assassination’ (1967) ???

Well, if this guess was wild it was pretty darn close. Definitely the right ballpark.
