[Thailand] Triple X

ethaicd.com are good, some Triple X DVD’s are $11.50 others $8.50 with free worldwide shipping no matter how many you buy.

I have a similar question to the one Justin B asked last Dec. Do all of these have terrible sound?

For instance Death Rides A Horse looks beautiful, full wide image. The English dialogue is crisp, clear, wonderful. And at $8.50 USD and free shipping it’s an unbeatable bargain.

But the sound is horrible. As mentioned above, not the dialogue. But all the non-dialogue sounds have digital echo and sound annoyingly tinny and fake. The music is not in stereo, but some kind of psuedo-fake stereo with the EQ messed with. That’s the real problem. Whenever there is music it is so loud and distorted it’s painful to hear.

I’d certainly be interested in buying more of their DVDs but not if they all suffer from these audio distortions.

Yes, I’m using an old high quality analog stereo amplifier with two speakers so it’s not a problem with my system or with some surround thing.

Duck You Sucker Thailand release.

The specs are as follows I think ??? :

2.35 151 mins Pal.

English 5.1 Dolby and Thai audio options.

Far better releases than this of course even though I have not seen the Thailand release, as this release has no extra’s for example.

Noticed there were some more releases on ethaicd.com

Just a heads up, I ordered the “And God Said To Cain” DVD from ethaicd.com and it has arrived.

It does NOT feature an English language option (just Thai and German) and the picture is badly cropped on both sides of the screen.

On the plus side, the print looks quite sharp. But I’m a bit angry >:(

I also have a copy of Massacre Time from Triple X CD that also stated it had English audio but none is present. There is Thai and Italian audio.
If anybody wants it, drop me a PM and I’ll pop it in the post tomorrow.

Thanks,

Bronson

Thanks for the info Bronson. Anyone pick up Deaf Smith And Jonny Ears yet? Does it actually have English audio? Thinking of making a purchase but wanna be sure. Cheers

what about the video quality of California? Does it look better than the NEW DVD ?
And what about My Name Is Pecos? I can’t understand if it has italian or english audio language…some sources say italian, others english

Plus…which titles (not only spaghetti western) are in Italian except California, Le Colt Cantarono La Morte, Arizona Colt, Kiss Kiss bang Bang?

I am planning to go to Thailand next weeks so I need to know which titles are available in italian language!

Arizona Colt has Italian audio (and impeccable video quality), but it’s the shorter version (98 minutes)

My dvd from Triple X has english audio.

Has anything else come out since Deaf Smith?

The ethai website isn’t very user friendly is it.

Thanx! So I will keep my italian DVD of Arizona Colt…

Some more Thai releases but I don’t know what label. They don’t seem to have the typical Triple X artwork
