Looked like a lovely spot
I just got this box set. It says “complete collection” but it’s quite deceptive. Some of the films included are solo Hill or Spencer vehicles. It’s also missing Boot Hill, Ace High, the Trinity films, Two Missionaries, All the Way Boys and I’m for the Hippopotamus.
Other than that, you get a nice selection of films. It’s a bit strange to see the likes of Today We Kill, Tomorrow We Die included while so many comedies have been omitted.
Anyone got any info on English friendly releases for the missing films?
That’s the Scandinavian box right? Been thinking about picking that up at some point.
It’s the Scandinavian box, yes. Good picture quality.

As a kid in the early 1970’s (UK) I used to go to ‘Saturday Morning Pictures’ at the local ODEON cinema. You would get some cartoons, and old serial from the 30’s or 40’s (Flash Gordon, Batman, etc.) and a film. They’d show the Japanese ‘kaiju / Godzilla films’ and a lot of Italian movies dubbed badly including things like ‘The Three Fantastic Supermen’. In 1974 we got ‘Watch Out, We’re Mad’ making it the first Spencer/ Hill movie I ever saw. I loved it. But I was only 12 and my tolerance for ‘slapstick’ humour has diminished with time.
