Talk Whatever

Got back from Berlin day before yesterday and although I didn’t find any DVDs or Bruckner’s book to buy ( :’() I did have a thoroughly good trip. Berlin is an interesting town and was a great place for me and my two eldest to hang out together for a few days. I’ll probably post a pic or two on the appropriate thread.

You’re lucky that you’re back home. Almost all airports in Europe are closed. The volcano in Iceland is to blame.

It is difficult in an German shop to buy Spaghetti Western DVD’s. The sales figures are very low. Are therefore only mainstream films on the shelves of shops. Unfortunately.

Is it different in other countries?

Yes, I was thinking that today. All UK airports are closed until at least tomorrow too. My son was even luckier. His flight back to New Zealand left at 9.00am yesterday and Heathrow airport shut down at 12.

Hmm, I always buy a few spaghetti western DVDs when I’m in Germany, hasn’t been difficult for me to find

Phil must have been unlucky, surely at least a few Koch releases should be available in a city like Berlin?

The big mediamarkts in Berlin should have a Western section in the DVD area of the shop… they have it round here.

I bought some spaghetti westerns at a Saturn in Berlin.

Saturn, Media Markt, Müller, they generally have a lot of westerns, and many, if not all of the Koch discs.

I passed a Media Markt near Alexanderplatz but didn’t have time to stop unfortunately. Never mind. I’m not exactly short of films.

We have that is Sweden too. Shit I hope they have Westerns here as well.

They don’t

Have you been to the famous Mediamarkt near Alexanderplatz in the Alexa Center?

That was the one I passed actually but when I looked inside it seemed to be more an electronics shop. Maybe I should have gone upstairs. But as I said, we were pushed for time anyway.

Both Media Markt and Saturn are electronics shops, but they usually have a big selection of DVDs as well

Watching the world snooker championship at the crucible theatre, this is a typical british game(with some chinese in it)that I like to watch (and play, but in smaler tables ;D)
Ronnie of course his the man to beat IMO, if he’s concentrated and fully motivated he can’t loose, and it’s defensive game getting better.

Yeah, I like watching it on TV to. As someone who has dabbled in the game, the shots people like Ronnie O’Sulivan pull are just breath-taking.

been watching a show called Breaking Bad…its about a high school chemistry in New Mexico who finds out he has cancer so he decides he’s going to make and sell crystal meth to help pay for treatment and to provide for his family…i havent been into a dramatic series for a while but this show is just too good, i highly recommend yall check it out…anyone who enjoys tense storytelling and superb acting will love this

Sorry for the hiatus - I am back guys. I have not watched any spaghetti westerns in a long time but I am still actively watching movies.

Got any spaghetti westerns to recommend?

I thought Ringo, It’s Massacre was alright. If you ever get bored you can try to find 20.000 Dólares Por Un Cadaver and Los Rebeldes De Arizona!
