Talk Whatever

Diplomacy really isn’t your thing is it? I saw your post and your wording was very confrontative so perhaps you should just move on like Toscano seems to have done.

Yeah man, only problem is you can’t exactly post a picture of stuff you have pre ordered and don’t physically have yet. It doesn’t matter if it’s their photo or not, it’s just a thread to have discussions about movies people have bought. No need to get arse-y about it  :+1:

No … he was quite calm considering how rude and unnecessarily judgemental your pointless post was …

The idea is just to illustrate what was bought, usually at bargain prices from a charity shop … It sometimes gives others ideas about films they may not know and wish to check out for themselves … Online pics are generally scans which show the artwork and release details much more clearly than a random snap shot from a phone or digital camera.

I think that’s really all that needs to said on this matter . Nothing to see here , folks!

Hey amigos, slight warning for a sob story here.

Just wanted to mention the reason for my absence during Spagvemberfest. My first proper relationship ended near the start of this month after I got cheated on, on my birthday. I’ve kind of been in a depressive rut for the past days since then and haven’t had much motivation to enjoy any of my hobbies or even eat. I’m finally feeling better enough about myself now and I’d like to thank everyone posting reviews in the Spagvember thread as they have kept me out of my own thoughts for a bit.

Thanks amgios :cowboy_hat_face:

Glad you’re doing better amigo, and glad our postings in the Fest have helped lift your spirits. Things will get better, just keep taking your time.

Nothing wrong with being upset, mate. A relationship is a living, breathing entity. You’ve suffered a loss. Grieve. It’s okay. That’s the process which will push you past this. It’s a trite thing indeed to say to you, “Things will get better in time”, but, however useless that advice might feel to you in this moment, it’s true nonetheless.

Experience your loss, so that you can let it go and love without fear again sometime down the road. This relationship turned because YOUR soulmate is still out there, waiting. You’ll find them, bud.

Much love to you, Max. :mending_heart:

I’ve not felt well for several days, but I have learnt this…

There’s one thing good about having a cold or flu…
The blocked nose and sore throat produce one hell of an Al Pacino impersonation…

“Fock”!!

I’ve been really getting fed up with all the crappy AI images social media is flooded nowadays. Look at this masterpiece for instance.

It sounds like you’re frustrated with the oversaturation of AI-generated images online. It’s true that as AI tools have become more accessible, there’s been an influx of content that can feel shallow or formulaic. Sometimes, these images lack the depth or originality that come from human creativity. At the same time, though, AI can also be a tool for interesting, new kinds of artistic expression—it’s just that, like with any trend, the quality can vary greatly. If this particular image feels like an example of the “crappy” side of AI art, it might be a result of either the tool being used poorly or just the growing pains of the medium in a space that’s still figuring out what it wants to be.

My complaint wasn’t the artwork for sale, that’s the original poster artwork on the cover of the exhibitor’s campaign book, which contain plot synopsis, cast list and advertising materials for local press.

Perhaps it’s not so obvious to non native English speakers, even though many of you guys are fluent … it’s the cheese factor in the written description, which is simply a generic sales pitch, which could apply to any product, with just a slight amendment .

I see the same type of wording applied to all sorts of movie memorabilia, sold by persons who don’t really know what they have.

" Add it to your collection today and enjoy a piece of cinema history that will transport you to the golden age of Hollywood"

No seller came up with that sentence.

Lol.

I can’t stand AI personally. A spaghetti western channel on YT that I used to follow has started doing AI thumbnails and they look vile
