^very cool! Sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing though.
I live in hope that it wont be ā¦
How could I forget this one - I know youāll reckon Iāve made this up but I swear on the bible (bollocks! there you go) that itās trueā¦
My dog Sparky (RIP :'() has sniffed Toyah Wilcoxās leather clad arse!
It transpires that John Peelās wife was born above our local pub (Fannyās Ale House)⦠Sparky is (was) a highly trained and intelligent terrier who refuses to pass said alehouse without us popping in to check on the well-being of my flock. We duly enter one Saturday lunchtime, and thereās an interview going on twixt the now dear departed JP and a leather trousered gal with her back to me. As Sparky stuck his nose firmly into the leather, she turned and I saw it was the georgeous diminuative songstress Toyah. It wasnāt me I said!". She didnāt reply - but didnāt look too out of sorts by the experience. āCut!ā said some fellah - āWeād better shoot that againā¦ā ;D
Thereās this Dutch actor named Peter Lusse who was in a horrible sitcom. I think he was unemployed when my girlfriend spotted him in a store. She was like: āHey, isnāt thatā¦ā So I said: "Yep"
he and his wife were in front of us on the escalator. Lusse overheard us and he had a surprised look on his face that someone recognized him. Pretending it wasnāt us, me and my girlfriend immediately were looking elsewhere. It was hilarious to see him in the corner of my eye searching for the person that still knew who he was. Fortunately he didnāt find out, otherwise he probably would have harassed me.
Rev⦠aye, I know dogs who love doing that, to the embarrassment of their owners
BL, you just couldnāt say some words of encouragement to someone down on his luck?
Iām not too good at that. But I saw interview with him on tv a month ago and he has some success again, now in theatre. Good for him. And good for me that itās theatre and not tv.
Had to image google his name to know who Peter Lusse was
Yes, that sitcom was awfull
You got a women to go out with you!?! ;D
Only when my monkey is unavailable
My Broās a big fan!
Just talked to my dad and he told me about some of the other celebās heās interviewed.
Brian Donlevy, Frankie Avalon, Cornel Wilde (Not so nice), George Raft (nice guy but my dad was convinced that the gansterās he played was not an act, that in real life he had ties to the mafia!)
Did he give you enough info on Cornel Wilde to tell you why he was not so nice. I have toy ask as he was in my favorite Noir as was Brian Donlevy.
Donlevy and Wilde are 2 of my favourite actors of that timeā¦does your dad recall anything about the Donlevy interview?
Wow, korano and I had some kind of mind-meld thing going thereā¦he posted while I was typing and itās eerily similar.
As was Richard Conte and Lee Van Cleef?
You must be talking about the excellent film THE BIG COMBO!!
Truly a classic!
My dad and I had a 30 second conversation about this LOL. I will get him to elaborate more on his experiences with the actors I mentioned.
He did maintain however that his fondest experience was with Christopher Lee.

Just asked my dad to elaborate on these guys. He softened his stance on some and I mustāve heard wrong on others.
Brian Donlevy: Very nice
Frankie Avalon:Nice
Cornel Wilde: Nice, I mustāve heard wrong the first time, or maybe my dad got someone else mixed up.
George Raft: Nice, but may have been having personal problems. He asked my dad to take him around town and meet some girls!
And to expand on Elke Sommer, my dad said that she was a nice lady but a bit full of herself. She thought she was the shit!
I promised photos a while back and here they are finally⦠(Ignore the bad hair of mine thankfully I did not try and woo my wife with style like that).
Ashley Laurence (Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser 2)

Doug Bradley (Pinhead himself)

The late Rudy Ray Moore and Jimmy Lynch

Carol Cleveland (looking as lovely as ever)
