[li]Your least favorite Leone film? (Mine is: None)[/li]
[li] The most underated Leone film? (Mine is “A Fistful of Dollars”)[/li]
[li]The most overated Leone film? (Mine is: None)[/li][/ul]
Just wondering.
Its a hard choice, so pick your favourite and a runner up.
Favourite: Once upon a Time in the West
Least favourite (leaving the peplums aside) : Duck you Sucker
Most underrated : none
Most overrated: Duck you Sucker (uneven, loud movie with a muddled script, uninspired performances and a few brilliant scenes)
favourite: ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST
LEAST: A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS ( though it is still a good film)
UNDER: ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERCIA
OVER: A FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE
Some say Yes, some say No.
But I never had a doubt about it. For me My Name Is Nobody is mostly a Leone film. Valerii sat in the director’s chair, but nearly every scene in it cries Leone.
•Your favorite Leone film? ( The Good, the Bad and the Ugly)
•Your least favorite Leone film? (Un Genio, due compari, un pollo)
•The most underated Leone film? (Fistful of Dynamite)
•The most overated Leone film? (Once Upon a Time in America)
Ha ha, it seems fair to mention now this one also, but … but this is not a Leone film. That’s one Leone only produced, like a few others in the following years.
It’s not even really a Damiani film. It’s a Terence Hill comedy directed by DD and produced by SL’s company.
•Your favorite Leone film? ( The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly)
•Your least favorite Leone film? (None)
•The most underated Leone film? (Giu La Testa)
•The most overated Leone film? (For a Few Dollars More even though I still love it)
I still cant fathom how someone can find GBU overrated…
Most people say it’s the greatest Spaghetti Western ever made but I still think it’s to fun. Plus the scene where Blondie and Tuco comes to a group of union soliders feels rather unnecessary. I prefer the dark and downbeat SWs and that’s why I like Corbucci’s movies more.
