I agree completely with the brief review on the db page for this. Lightweight and silly, but entertaining and fun, mostly because of the cast. Van Cleef can make anything worth watching. It’s very cartoonish, with characters like Alley Cat (the most cringe-worthy part of the movie for me) and Banjo, not to mention the Bond-like gadgets, but it’s never boring. Speaking of Linda Veras, in his “Dizionario del western all’Italiana” Marco Giusti says that in Sabata she has a sexy scene in the bathtub, but in the CDE/Eagle Italian dvd (about 99min. equivalent to 103’ at 24fps), assumed to be uncut, this sequence is missing. Is the scene included in the English language version?

Yeah, indeed. I love it. I didn’t like it with the first viewing and now I cannot see why. Superb stuff, could be this the best film of Parolini. I don’t have to add the soundtrack is great, every spaghetti western fan knows it! :wink:
