R.I.P. Legends Lost but Remembered

It is with great regret I mention that my spaghetti western companion Sparky passed away a month ago. I loved that dog and he was a great companion. Despite him hating horses, he has watched many a SW with me and enjoyed most. He didn’t suffer (other than a few turkeys, as we all have to) and I’d like you to raise a glass in his memory. I’d like to post a pic of him but haven’t the technology at the mo. You can see the little fellah on page 4 of this thread - he’s underneath Chelo (which ain’t a bad place to be in heaven). To Sparky!

here here

RIP boy

I drink a Pabst Blue Ribbon in his memory. Maybe this will cheer you up.

Sad to hear

Here is his photo

Cheers chaps! And especially thankyou Lindberg for posting the picture. I’ve gone a bit moist seeing this so I’m gonna go watch another SW and bark at the horses on Sparky’s behalf! Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear Reverend. I toast Sparky  .

I’m a little confused. How did you get a picture of his dog?

If you click on the link in the Reverend’s post above, you will come to a thread with the photo of Sparky.

duh!
First Linds parakeet & now sparky :’(

Glass raised to Sparky. Lemonade I’m afraid, as there’s no alcohol present here now.
And remember: A bitch is a bitch, but a do is a man’s best friend

That’s almost as sad.

BL’s credit RIP

Sorry to hear about that, Rev. Sparky sounded like a little treasure and I almost felt he was one of the family around here.
Here’s to him and hoping he’s having fun barking at horses in dog heaven.

I can only raise a cup of coffee to his memory right now, i hope that will do for now

RIP sharky, and don’t forget to give Chelo a hug (no rhyme intended) while I drink a glass of sparkling water to you memory

That is sad news rev, you have mentioned him in other posts, and know that you can get so attached to your pets, through past experience of my own it’s like losing a member of the family :’( my condolences, it’s a coincidence because we have a cat called Sparky.

My heartfelt condolences my good Reverend. That Sparky must’ve been a real treasure. Dogs can be the greatest of friends because they love unconditionally and are extremely tolerant of bad habits. But like they say in too many westerns: “The Lord Giveth, The Lord Taketh Away”.

And yes, being underneath Chelo is a good thing!

R.I.P. Sparky - glad he brought joy to your life - he sounded like a great companion.

Sad news,Rev
Keep the good times you both had in your memory

Sorry to hear about Sparky, it’s alway’s tough to lose a good companion. And any dog who sits through SW’s is a good one.
