R.I.P. Legends Lost but Remembered
RIP Chen Hung-Lieh. :’( He was a great actor and I will miss him greatly. His most famous international role is probably in Come Drink With Me. One of my favorite heavies ever.
That is truly sad news, as he was one of my favorites as well.
Yes, he was superb as Jade-Faced Tiger in King Hu’s classic, but I enjoyed him in many other films, too (i.e., THE TRAIL OF THE BROKEN BLADE, KNIGHT OF KNIGHTS, THE TWIN SWORDS, THE MAGNIFICENT TRIO, and on and on…).
A fabulous talent!

Glad you posted this–otherwise I wouldn’t have known anything about it.

Don’t know who he is I’m afraid, but RIP anyhow :’(.

Man both Paul Naschy and Chen Hung-Lieh both leave this mortal coil… what a bad week. I love Naschy and he is sorely missed. His werewolf movies are my favorite in that genre.

R.I.P. Gene Barry who passed away yesterday aged 90.

Those of us of a certain age will remember Barry fondly for his many TV shows. Most notably Bat Masterson, Burke’s Law and The Name of the Game. I guess 90 years is a good innings but still sad to see him go.

RIP Gene Barry. starred in one of my all time favourite films " War Of The Worlds"(1953) a sci fic classic.

My first memories of TV programming were HAVE GUN–WILL TRAVEL, THE LONE RANGER, and Gene Barry as BAT MASTERSON.
I was very sad when I found out about his passing away on Dec. 8. I was going to post about it here, this morning, but our ol’ buddy, Phil, beat me to it.

RIP, Mr. Barry!

I haven’t heard of either two, but still, RIP.

Why does so many people die right now? Is it dying season or what? What have I missed? Don’t know this Gene Barry but RIP :’(.

People die everyday… it’s a part of life and death.

Making room for the people who are being born is the way I look at it  .

Always look on the bright side of life :).

Dan O’Bannon best known for Alien,Dead And Buried, and Return Of The Living Dead died today aged 63. R. i.P Dan :’(

Thats a shame. Thought his writing was inventive.

Not to forget his major contributions for Dark Star

Apparently Brittany Murphy died this morning. Don’t know much about her but RIP anyway

wow…Brittany Murphy? thats unexpected…RIP

Just heard it on the radio. Came out of nowhere. I’ve only seen her in Clueless. RIP.

Don’t know her but anyhow RIP :’(.

Sin City…

Truly shocked by the passing of Brittany Murphy at the young age of 32.
