:moneybag: :dollar: Support the SWDb

Please donate. It helps. If enough folks just donate tiny amounts, that would be even better than just a handful of people donating large amounts. So donate just 2 bucks maybe…

SWDb  Letterboxd

You should do three thiings. 1) Follow our official SWDb Letterboxd HQ account. Click here to learn more about that. 2) On any movie page in the SWDb there is a direct link to their respective LB entry at the bottom. Click it, log the film, rate the film. And lastly, 3) Do the same on IMDb and other film platforms, it helps other film fans find films and it keeps these film entries active and useful. Thank you for your attention in this matter

:dvd: Home video news:

October was not bad at all. In the US we got Alex Cox’ new film plus an ultra rare Czech western, what a surprise. In France, the Dollars Trilogy releases continue, and there were two more, one of them based on the new restoration of Yankee (a German disc will follow in December). The rest are mostly minor titles o re-issues…

November will be a lot more exciting even. Lots of Sergio Leone to go around for buyers in France, Brazil, Italy and the US. Some more re-releases in a few countries as well, plus new 4K UHD discs in France, including Run Man Run. And there’s a new book that sounds super interesting. Dive in and explore these!

Check the calendar regularly, we update it constantly! We suggest bookmarking it.

:shopping_cart: JPC and FNAC

We have expanded FNAC (France) links in the SWDb and we joined the JPC (Germany, ships internationally) partner program. Please use our links for shopping (even if you end up buying something else). This adds to our links for Amazon USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Sweden, as well as DeepDiscount and MoviesUnlimited links that we have. Many may be broken or out of date, please report those instances. Using these links supports the SWDb, thank you!

:church: Obituaries

Our head of obits, the spaghettiologist @Tom_B had to update the boot hill cemetery with an unfortunate 9 new obituaries over the course of the last four weeks. Rest in peace!

:balance_scale: Reviews:

Please contact us if you want your reviews published. We are especially looking for reviews of movies that have no, or very few, reviews in the SWDb. We publish them in all languages, and you don’t need to be a professional writer!

:cowboy_hat_face: :sunrise_over_mountains: :cactus: Spagvemberfest 2026 is here

It’s that time of the year again! The most festive of all months! Four weeks of nourishing our appetites for spaghetti westerns. The festivities have already kicked off:

:globe_with_meridians: Follow us on #Filmsky

For page owners like the SWDb, it’s a tiresome effort and the corporations milk us in the cage they have locked us in. So we much rather welcome and meet you all on here on our own message board - no ads, no fees, pure freedom. We are trying out BlueSky these days, which is sort of like Twitter when it was still decent. If you’re on there, see you also on BlueSky, where we have surpassed the mark of 870 followers this week.

:books: Upcoming book

You’ve heard it last month, but just to be sure: there is a new book on the horizon, click here to learn more.
